I am wondering why some smokers insist on chucking their cigarette butts any where they feel like it? There are people who have to clean up after them or they end up going into storm drains and pollute the environment. What's up with that?

BTW, I am not arguing about smoking or not smoking here. I am just wondering why some smokers can't be more conscience of what they do with their cigarettes when they are done with them.

If I really want to be white trash, should a case of beer cost as much as my hourly pay?

Also, if I earn a certain amount per hour, does that exclude me from ever being white trash?

I have worked at this job about 3 months and this really nice lady who works in the main office calls me by the wrong first name. She calls me Karina and my name is Sabrina. I have been answering her for the past couple months when she calls me Karina. Should I let her know that it's not my name or just go along with it? Another woman who works on a different floor does the same thing and calls me Samantha. Is it rude to correct people who have a higher position than you?

I have never done ANYTHING to him that should bother him. I'm clean and quiet, and I try to remain civil with him, but he literally has been shunning me for months now. He will actually talk around me to someone else in the room, but not even answer a direct question from me.

I work at a bank, and I have customers who think it's ok to reach over into my space and take a pen or a post it note or a deposit slip. Am I wrong, or shouldn't you ask? I would never rip my own receipt off of the register at the grocery store, it seems along those lines to me.

I am having trouble finding something to wear to a wedding that will be held in Houston in February at 5:00 PM in a church. The reception starts at 7 and goes to midnight.

Most of the dresses I have found are either sleeveless or halter, niether of which I care to wear, or they are black. I know in the past it has been inappropriate to wear black at weddings, but some sources say it is now okay to do if the wedding takes place in the evening. Would an ivory colored pants suit be a good choice? Some sources say that ivory may be too close in color to the bride's gown, however, it is quite evident that the pants suit I am thinking of wearing looks nothing like the bride's gown.

It's the middle of winter, so I thought I could bring in a volleyball net, and/or a huge beachball....

I was very tempted to bring a Christmas Tree in the middle of the summer....

Anyone have any other ideas? I have a rather large office to myself....

I went to pick someone up at the bus station last night. While i was waiting a kid in the car parked next to me opened the door and hit my car. It's only a minor paint chip. the woman was very unapologetic. She never said sorry or told her kid to say sorry. The kid was about 7. We swapped information. I normally don't report something like this to my insurance, because usually the person comes out blurting sorry, but I feel like this time I have to because the lady was so unapologetic and I feel she needs to be taught a lesson.
My brother is accusing me of being too cruel? Am I?

If they can't manage their children and keep them from bothering other people around them, they should be asked to leave.
That is the policy in Germany and Europe they would be kicked out.

My wife answered a question - the bloke who asked it then emailed her - asking for more details of her views, she replied and he sent another - it was rather abrupt and bordering on rude. My wife spent ages replying and then found he'd blocked her as spam. On his question, when I said it was ill mannered, he denied having emailed her. Because my wife always likes the last word - she added it to the original answer. He then chose her as the best answer and said to see comments - he had insulted her writing abilities and admitted he'd blocked her as spam! Is this strange behaviour - or is it common place on here?

I have a friend that has REALLY bad breath, and I don't know how to tell them so they don't get their feelings hurt. Is there anything I can do to help combat the killer morning breath without hurting their feelings or do I just need to live with it?

I was at Circus Circus in Las Vegas for a little family fun time. After we called it a night, we walk out the doors to the valet area and some girl races past us with great haste. She then bends over and vomits all over the place. She wipes off her mouth and walks off. As we are watching with amazement, I began to ponder over a question: Why is vomiting in public acceptable but urinating and going #2 not. Vomiting is arguably more gross than doing #1 or #2.

What if I had the "runs"...I cant go around to a bush if there is not bathroom in sight? But still yet, I can Barf with no problems anywhere, anytime, anyplace in America and its ok!

Your thoughts...
