My wife answered a question - the bloke who asked it then emailed her - asking for more details of her views, she replied and he sent another - it was rather abrupt and bordering on rude. My wife spent ages replying and then found he'd blocked her as spam. On his question, when I said it was ill mannered, he denied having emailed her. Because my wife always likes the last word - she added it to the original answer. He then chose her as the best answer and said to see comments - he had insulted her writing abilities and admitted he'd blocked her as spam! Is this strange behaviour - or is it common place on here?

I wouldn`t say it is common place but it happens. I didn`t have any problems like this until recently and I`m on level 6.

I'm very new to Y/A. I did answer some questions and I did get 2 replies in my e-mail. It wasn't foul or rude, just another person wanting to give more of their opinion to me because of my answer. It's too bad some people are narrow minded and unstable emotionally. Their personal life must be rough and as long as everything is confidential and private, I wouldn't let it bother me. I know Y/A is doing a good job on keeping things private. When I got my 2 messages, it came through Y/A. That way they don't know my e-mail and I don't know theirs. Some people use this kind of website to vent their anger because they don't know the proper way to do it. When answering this kind of people; make your answer be firm, but in a gentle, compassionate way. People in general needs TLC in their life and even a little bit from a stranger makes a whole lot of difference. Have a nice day!

There are many strange and bitter people on here. A few worse than others. Some are very sick and would be barred from most places but, Yahoo can't diagnose them - so here they are. Your wife should block him and I think it's always a mistake to email or receive emails from strangers. Just keep to asking and answering questions. Stay away from the strange people.

Yep, that sounds like the Yahooilgans at their dastardly work again. All the crazies that can afford Internet access and a computer seem to roll through here, thankfully not many of them have staying power so You'll get to see a whole new set of crazies every couple of days. I should know, I'm crazy too!

That's pretty weird but there are a lot of weirdo's online! I have email turned off for that reason, I'll keep it here rather than get crap like that in my mailbox too.

No offense, but it's just the internet. I would just ignore the problem and not email the person and not worry about if they are calling you a liar, because they don't actually know you and probably never will.

Strange indeed. There are lots of idiots on here, unfortunately. AND there are people cloning others too. I have seen many. This could be the case too. I wouldn't lose sleep over it tho. Just block them if they contact you again.

People are rude all over---even on here.The age of the people on here is young, I have ask that as a question.Some very young,so just take it all with a grain of salt....
