I would say so!! But if that were the case for me I think I would be too embarrased to tell my boss that I had an itchy bum-hole, and would most likely make up another excuse!!

It's a good reason not to go to work, but that isn't what I'd tell them when you call off. Have a migraine headache. Your laying on the bathroom floor so you can be close to the toilet to throw up.

Not in those terms, no. Perhaps if there were a more serious illness or rash that was associated with that, then, yes, but otherwise, I'd try and come up with something better than that.

I would not say that. Maybe you could say you had a stomach virus that has kept you on the pot all night. No one would want a poo trail at work to walk in.

If you told them it itched because you had worms they might not be so keen to have you in. You could remind them that round worm is very contagious.
