if a friend's son and daughter in law have a baby, but you haven't met them, should a New Baby card go to the grandparent (eg Congratulations you are a granny) or to the parents, even though you don't know them?

When a stranger holds the door open, walks through a vestibule, and holds the door open again, should I say "thank you" both times they hold it open or only the first time they hold it open? When a stranger sneezes multiple times, should I say "bless you" each time? I want to be polite and avoid awkwardness, but don't want to over do it.

My friend recently past her driver's test and now she is fully licensed! She really appreciates homemade gifts so I wanted to bake her a cake. I wanted to make and oreo chocolate cake and decorate it with a mini road (using frosting) and a mini car (using a small toy) and write "congratulations" on the cake. Is this a good idea?

I know someone who believes HOW you treat the gift they give you is a direct reflection on how you feel about THEM. Trouble is, this person often gives gifts that were UNWANTED, UNNEEDED, AND UN-ASKED FOR, so if you want to get rid of it, or you don't make a big deal over it, they get insulted. This person also treats gifts THEY receive the same way--they have tons of stuff they'll never use, but because of WHO gave it to them, they WON'T get rid of it. Is this normal? Does anyone else feel this way? Thanks in advance!

Brain Dead parents threatening to sue after I threw them out of my Resturant for not controlling her bratty 3 1/2 year old .....the brat was running all over the place....You should NOT allow children to just run freely in a resturant. It is not only a DANGER to them, but to other customers
Just remember, having a child is a choice not a law. Part of chosing to have children is the loss of some choices that go with it.

An adult can't go into a movie, coffee shop or restaurant and run arond and scream, why should a child?
Say goodbye to Starbucks and hello to McDonalds...for a while.

.... Just as people with babies who can't find baby sitters should get used to missing out on going to the movies. Chalk it up to the sacrifices of parenthood. Rather than force your child to adapt to your grown-up environment, why not spend more time in theirs? Next time, try the park or the zoo.
In cities around the country, coffeehouses are putting parents on notice Restraunts now ban kids
