My husband eats the apple core, too. I don't consider it an issue.

However apple seeds do have trace chemicals which release cyanide into your system on digestion (but apparently you'd vomit before it became an issue):

Eat what you like. My dad eats the whole of pears. In polite company, only fruit should be eaten if prepared and sliced, as it is considered unpleasant to have to bite into something

If you mean leave the stem, yeah sure. I like to eat the core. Spit out the seeds, but eat the core.

Yes. If you have a VERY weak stomach and are VERY sensitive to some foods then I would not suggest it. but if you are in any way, shape, or form healthy then you should have no problemo.
