I don't think you should be mean or nasty to him. If you are sharing house get all the housemates together and talk to him about what worry's you. Tell him that he has a whiff about him and that you need the bills paid on the day that it is due. Be kind, don't be mean, remember even if you don't smell and pay your bills up to date the same thing could happen to you in future. You should make rules and regulations the day people move in to share house etc with you. But i still feel for you cannot be nice living with a smelly person. Good luck.:))

Although you may feel that an eviction is too polite as a responsible adult you must consider the legal ramifications to whatever action you take.
So he's not the most appealing housemate, and he is late with the bills...slyly will not work in your favor. Thirty days notice is pretty much the legal standard for most states. Good luck.

Pack his bags for him and leave them by the front door with a note saying that the decision has been made you are evicted you have 30 seconds to leave the house..... something like that but make sure no one is in or maybe one person should just walk in as he gets home takes one look at the bags and say finally you got the message then good luck.......

If you don't want to be nice. Bring everybody together and tell him, "You stink, physically, and you don't pay your share of the bills.' You gotta go.
If he's on the lease, you might not be able to force him out, but doing the above, just might wake him up enough to take a shower and start paying bills.

I would grit my teeth and tell him straight that you and the others can't put up with his late payment of bills, poor hygiene etc. Not being deliberately hurtful of course but just tell him the truth with your friends there to back you up. Give him some time to get another place to live of course. Good luck.

Put on a pair of Marigolds. Pack his bags and dump them outside the front door. Change the locks.

When he's out, have all the locks changed and put all of his stuff out on the lawn/hall. If he doesn't get that message, he's pretty dense. Just make sure he isn't psychotic enough to burn the place down. Merry Christmas.

Serious though, you should wait until after Christmas to drop the eviction bomb on him, and then give him a date that he needs to be out by.

call a "house meting" and just politely tell him that this living situation isn't working out and tell him you would like him to have his things moved out in a reasonable amount of time that you and ur other roommates agree upon together.
