Well, just make sure you keep your motivation in check. If you want to show them so that they can enjoy the things you have too (ie, inviting them for a nice meal or to relax in YOUR house on YOUR couch or if you offer to drive them places in YOUR car), then that's a nice thing to do. If it's just so they can ooh and aah over it or if it's going to make them feel badly about themselves, I'd be careful.
In any case, I would try to avoid talking too much about THINGS.

Oh, this replaced right into some years in the past, yet i will under no circumstances ignore it. on the time I had 2 Gordon Setters named Corey and Abbie. Abbie replaced into the older by using 3 years and she or he had common suggestions harm from a severe fever over an prolonged volume of time as a domestic dog. My chum Gary had a Gordon named Lacey, and we've been taking the three canines out to do slightly container training. nicely, Corey and Lacey have been training, I had in simple terms extra Abbie alongside to have a good run, because of the fact she replaced into no longer container textile. I had left her in my van with the abode windows cracked collectively as we worked. I befell to look up and see a Gordon Setter working in direction of us, and my first concept replaced into... somebody else has a Gordon out right here??? Then it ran ideal to me and it replaced into ABBIE! How did she get out of my van? We walked back to the van, and she or he had actually ripped between the sliding abode windows out of the back seat! the full physique replaced into destroyed and the protection glass replaced into in a million products. I have not got any concept how she did it or why. That window value $1200 to repair. because of the fact of this Abbie had a T shirt that stated 'why be prevalent once you are going to be ABBIE-prevalent?'

I was in exactly the same boat as you are - my wife and I started out in poverty but we made our way.
The most important thing is modesty. Above all else don't simply show off things for the sake of showing off, it really puts people off. I.e., don't call people to say 'I just bought so and so, you have to see it!'. If you call people over to just hang out, and casually mention it well after they're settled in, then it's not so much bragging as sharing your pride and joy.

yes, you should be proud of the things you have now but you dont have to go blasting(hey look what i have!) to other family members that dont have. This may come across as you think you are better than them. You can show it but dont allow material things to change who you are as a person.

Me too actually--things are going very well now. True pride is generally subtle, though--only if it's pertinent to the conversation should it be mentioned. Like Asbjorn Folling (the guy who discovered the genetic disorder PKU) said, "Knowledge leads to humility." In this case, the knowledge that you can't take it with you will lead to humility in the end.;

Keep it to yourself. Take time to enjoy what you have and worry less about others. Life can change in the blink of an eye. Don't show off, cause you never know to who and when you will need to turn to them.

its good to be proud but not to be pointy what I mean is people can see you have the nice things without you pointing it out to them so if they compliment you say thank you and thats it don't go on about it otherwise don't bring up what you have
