I mean, everybody usually says: "I'm fine". "OK" , "not too bad" etc. Are there any other more original ways?

So far, so good!.. as the guy who jumped off the empire state building said, as he was falling past the 83rd floor...
Also you could say that philosophers since the time of Socrates have been struggling to answer this question, and refer them to Plato's 'Dialogues'- that generally shuts them up!

You could raise your eyebrows and ask, "Do you REALLY want to know?" or (what I usually say) "I can't complain. Well, actually I could, but nobody would listen."
