I like walking to stores instead of driving. I get cold easily so if I walk for long distances, I have to wear baggy college sweatshirts and jeans to keep me warm. It's not like I'm dressed nice but I get honked at for some weird reason like I'm wearing a dress. Why am I being honked at? I don't look nice and I'm out of the way of cars as far as possible. The Mexican guys especially love beeping at me. Do Latin guys have a thing for bag ladies or something j/k? Or are they just making fun of me? For the most part I just enjoy my walks but it startles me when I'm honked at.

i have a neighbor that doesn't drive and is always asking me for things. espicially cigarettes today i came home at 4pm and she stated that she has no money or cigarettes and expected me to give her half of my pack i have heard rumors abour her that she like to use people and make them feel sorry for her she is not old she is about 45-55 or so and claim that she can't walk very well but she will not hesitate to walk to the bank and cash her checks but she never ask me for anything when she has the money for the items i sometimes feel bad that i say NO to her becuz i could be in the same position in the future but i don't expect anything from anyone but she expects me to be her personal valet for whenever she want and NEVER offers any compensation at all unless there is an underlying reason she will give me a pack of cigs and then expect me to run errands for her even though by the time she pays me back she owes me a pack my question is should i feel bad about saying no to her?

I gave my neighbor some chicken bones to give to his dog and since
then, when I look out the window, he's there talking loud as if he's trying to get my attention. He lives with his girlfriend and they always argue. He's out there now washing his truck close to my window. What should I do? it's creepin' me out.

i am sick of being single , i want a b/f and the last guy i liked was nice at first then he turned out to be an asshole , you see we met while at work, he knew i was leaving and he didn't bother to give me his number, now there is a guy at my new job, he is a cute guy,he flirts with me constantly , but the problem is that he has a fiancee, although he told his friend they are fighting and he thinks he is going to break up the engagement, then there is another guy at the same place, he is a very funny guy and goes out of his way to just do funny stuff, for example, we were walking next to each other and he jumped and fell on the floor and pretended i had tripped him, but he later told me it was a joke, he is a nice guy, the problem is i NEVER get approach by any guy and the ones i have approached turned me down, so i'm waiting for one of the guys at my new job to approach me, i mean what should i do ,should i approach them?

I was at the mall and there were 2 people in wheelchairs, I think they were married and they were leaving and having trouble opening the doors so I asked them if they needed any help and the woman said no and gave me a mean look. Why are people mean to you when you are trying to be nice?

My coworker and I were discussing an issue and he said something that really made me mad. So mad I was unable to speak for a bit and finally just walked away. When I approached him again with what I wanted to say calmly mapped out, he got mad at me because he thought I had agreed with what he had said earlier and was now mad for no reason. I told him that I didn't agree with him and had to leave to calm down. He says that makes no sense at all. I just walked away again.

Do you agree with his opinion that I had agreed with him because I didn't say anything and just left? Is there some other way I should have handled it?

Every year I've participated in our Secret Santa gift exchange and this year I decided not to, on account that my finances are bad right now and I'd rather my kids have the extra present than someone at my office. Our office is a fairly small group and when I explained my reason, one of our more "opinionated" employees made the comment that "it would only be $10-20 but whatever". Is it wrong for me to not "spread the christmas cheer" and spend a little on someone else other than my family?

I think she needs a good azz whupping, so I figured this would be a legal way to assault her. I'm totally for it, I'll invite her to a local boxing gym, and get ready to punch her in her throat (that'll teach her to talk me like I'm beneath her)

Gillette, said her troubles began when she and her husband and their almost 2-year-old daughter River were traveling from Vermont to New York. Their flight was delayed three hourst (booked through Delta Air Lines)
The family headed to their seats at the back of the little plane. Mother and daughter took the window seat in the second to last row; River’s dad took the aisle seat. As the plane was getting ready to move, Gillette tucked in next to the window and began to discreetly nurse River. That’s when Gillette noticed the lone flight attendant holding out a blanket, telling Gillette that she needed to cover up.,” she says. “I was being as discreet as possible.” When Gillette refused, Gillette says the flight attendant responded; “You are offending me. You need to cover up.” Gillette refused again. Gillette says the flight attendant huffed off, and returned with a ticket agent, who told the family that they were being thrown off the plane.

A lady who works on my floor, while talking about brokeback mountain made the following statement:

I think people are born gay, it's not a choice they make...when a baby is in the womb, it decides what it is going to be.

Ok. I cross the street making sure no cars are around and low and behold a driver is close on my tail ready to run me over. I smile, wave, and say: HELLO loudly. Another incident, in the parking lot. I walk close to the car end that way the driver has all the room in the world to drive. Again a lady is head on with me, and I have no room to move. I smiled at her and she started laughing back. Don't these people get it?

at our corporate office in thanks for their assistance & support & was truly genuine about it. I sent it to the main person that I had been in contact with the most, who happens to be 2nd to the CEO, but with all others names on the gift. I only received a thank you from the person who I sent it to directly & she told me she told the others of the gift. I got the impression after that they thought I was brown nosing or something & still haven't ever heard a word from them. Was it out of line for me to do this or their problem for not saying thank you?

Considering cash is king, what are the guidelines for tipping? Does it vary from region to region(New York to LA)?
