I gave my neighbor some chicken bones to give to his dog and since
then, when I look out the window, he's there talking loud as if he's trying to get my attention. He lives with his girlfriend and they always argue. He's out there now washing his truck close to my window. What should I do? it's creepin' me out.

he may very well be interested in you, I'd stay away from him and if posible have a guy drop by your place. That hopefully give him the message your with someone else and not interested...PS this guy does not sound terribly bright, subtle hint may not work.

Don't give animals cooked bones. As for your neighbor, he's looking for a shoulder to cry on. Just be cordial yet aloof. Shut your drapes when he washes the truck. He'll get the hint

Don't pay him any extra attention. In effect, ignore him outside of the regular neighborly head-nod greeting when you pass each other on the way to the mailbox.
If he approaches you, be cordial. Don't assume anything. He may just think you're a nice neighbor.
If he flirts, don't encourage it by flirting back. If he asks you out, kindly let him know you're not really interested.
If he's on your property washing his car, ask him nicely to move his car.
If he starts staring in your windows, call the cops.

Never give pets chicken bones. They are very brittle and very bad for animals.
If you want to know what he wants, ask him. Anything else is just speculation or assumption.

You are not supposed to feed dogs chicken bones. They splinter too easily and will get lodged in thier throat.
Did you kill the dog?

just go out there to chat and if it looks like he's stalking you like he looks in your window when he's washing his car close the blinds and if it really seems that he's stalking you get a restraining order.

Chicken bones splinter into shards, due to their structure. (they have to be light, so the bird can fly). This means that when the dog crunches on the bone, it can splinter, choke, and kill the dog. Your neighbor is probably pissed that you tried to kill his dog.

that does sound creepy. hmmm... maybe just ignore him for awhile. Do not give the dog anymore treats for awhile too.
