Please help me resolve a friendly dispute with my hubby. Is it proper to use a knife to help one push peas onto a fork? If, for example, a person has peas or corn he or she can't get onto their fork, what is the most polite way to accomplish the task? What does conventional etiquette say about this?

I took my 5 year old brother to the zoo yesterday and when he had to use the bathroom, I took him into the womens. I did not feel comfortable letting him go into the mens room by himself without supervision because of all the creeps that could be in there. I was just wondering ig this was the right thing for me to do? How old is too old for a boy to go in the womens restroom?

Also, my husband and I were talking and were wondering if we ever have a daughter and he takes her somewhere without me, is it ok for him to take her in the mens room? There are urinals in the mens room and we wouldn't want our daughter exposed to that so what would we do in that situation? If she were 5 I guess she could go in the womens alone but at 3 wouldn't she need somebody with her?

If there are any parents out there, let me know how you handle this situation. Do you get weird looks for taking a boy in the womens bathroom and vice versa?

Thanks

You go out on a regular basis with a group of women friends. There are 15 in this group who go out for dinner several times a year in a fancy restaurant. You are on a budget and watch what you order to drink and eat. The others order many drinks...expensive appetizers and entrees, and yet, they insist on splitting the bill rather than separate checks. This means that the $25. meal you ordered now has become $70. How do you tactfully make it clear that you would prefer a separate check?

I just realized I have a huge bump on my back that is filled with fluid. I pop it before bed every night but it leaks so much i need to change the sheets every morning. The smell of the mystery liquid is like soured taco seasoning or aged spicy checken curry, i cant really tell. In the mirrior i can see this liquid swishing around...it reminds me of my snow globe music box. Any idea of what this raunchy smelling liquid is or what the floaters are within the liquid ? I also found that if i put a tablespoon of Crisco on it in the morning it will not burst till last that night. hope this helps someone to shine a little light on my problem!
thanks guys !

say your name when thanking you for your purchase? "OK, Thank you for shopping with us today, Miss (insert last name).

Why do corporate heads consider this customer service? I personally find it creepy and really don't need the people behind my knowing my last name. This isn't small town America where everyone knows each other. Any thoughts on how I can get around this besides paying by cash? Do you like it???

Is it really slothful to use the internet most of the time while you are at work? Or is it productive because you are getting what you want done while also being at work...sort of like multi-tasking?

It's much easier to grab it when it's put in the roll & you pull it over. It's one of my pet peeves when I go to somebody's house. I've even changed the roll & done it over.

My friend was President last year, and really didn't do that well. I was thinking about running against her, and we talked about her running for pres and me running for vice pres, but I think I would do a better job. Should I just run for VP or should I go for Pres and risk hurting my friends feelings.

I posted this question last week and recieved many postive responses. I was told questions are deleted when someone reports it. The following is a copy and paste of the question. It starts with "anybody with me?" and ends with "have a fantastic day" It was in response to many questions and answers I have seen on Y!answers and I my goal was to spread a postive tone in light of some negativity. So here is the question.

Or in other words when a person that has not been invited to the dinner either walks in the room or shows up at the front door and ends up in the house. Is it the polite thing to stop and wait until they leave the house to continue eating? Is this even more important when it is a member of the opposite sex?
