Yes, I know it's hard. But when you meet really daft, racist, ignorant, IGNORANT, ignorant, mean, nasty and ignorant Americans online don't get mad at them.
Assume you are talking to the Amerian equivalent of a Bihari villager.
Just because they go to school and have computers doesn't mean they're aware of things around them... Let it go.. let them be.

So, any other reasons why we must ignore or treat sillyass Americans nicely. Please put it down here, and promote harmony and world piece.
It's easier than calling them those 243552342234000 nasty names that the rest of the world has come up with for Americans. (ignorant ones only)

I'm attending my mother's funeral in a few days, and I was thinking about telling a joke while speaking to the attendees. (I'm sure my mom wouldn't be offended.)

I heard from a former boss that there is this custom Japanese people have of exchanging and giving little gifts. It includes giving away gifts that you received from others, like you receive the little item (a fancy paperweight or a small vase or small piece of art or whatever), you keep it and use and enjoy it for awhile, then on another occasion you give it to someone else. It's like a long-standing tradition of re-gifting by passing things along over and over. Is there a name for this custom?

I saw the most offensive T-shirt yesterday. In one of my college classes a "man" was wearing a T-shirt with 2 ladies-one whispering in the others ear. The caption read "Abortions Tickle"
I found NO humor in that at all. As a matter of fact, I was pretty offended by it. Your thoughts...?

When you are making your way to the aisle to leave the theatre, and there are people sitting watching the movie, there is usually no room to walk as you would normally walk. So, you have to walk sideways, therefore making the people who are sitting down have two choices: having them look at your butt, or having them look at your crotch. Which is more polite?

We lived in that townhouse for four years - the spring it was for sale, one of the windows decided to leak. We disclosed the leaky window on the disclosure form and also told the realtor we were in the process of having it fixed.

We had a guy come look at it - he tore the siding back, found the problem and recaulked - then replaced the siding and we had no problems. Paid him in cash - and that was that - also that was APRIL!

We have since moved 1000 miles away, new address, new phone numbers etc. Well, the hurricaine that went thru Philly brought a ton of rain with it and a leaky window to our old house. We still keep in touch with our old neighbor and he told us that the new neighbors were "livid" that the window was leaking and that they were going to 'go after us' over it. That was the end of August and we never heard a word. Our old neighbor told us they got it patched and that was good enough - tonite i get an email forwarded from the woman who bought our house to the

Is there anything that an American white christian can say that will not offend someone in this world?
It seems that American White Christians are expected to apologize for every little thing that they say or do wrong.
What about the non-american, non-white, non-christians, how come they never apologize?

ladies are lining up for my attention. I am physically active (run 20 -30 miles per week) and I have two boys 19 and 17 and two girls 13 and 9. I do not want another woman in my house. How do I let people know that I want to finish raising my kids before I think about another relationship.

A couple of times, when going to the powder room of a retail store, there was toilet paper, paper towels everywhere and just a soppy wet mess on the counters.

When no one is around I pick up the papers and wipe down the counters, because I feel sorry for the cleaning lady that has to face the mess.

Really, I can't believe women don't pick up after themselves or just throw it on the floor.

Men are you just as guilty for messy public restrooms?

On the front of a Pop-tarts package, there's an illustration. Depicted are a girl and boy standing beside one another. The boy's pants have a smile drawn over them, and the boy is staring downward at his pants while saying, "Let me do the talking." I just found it odd that Pop-tarts let that onto their packaging.

What is the best way to inform my business contacts of the name change-- How can I do this tastefully and professionally?
