I am really, really unhappy at my current place of business, but my supervisor, whom I have a lot of respect for, is out on maternity leave until September. I have an opportunity to move to another facilty with better hours, benefits, pay, and less stress. Although this sounds great, I feel terrible about leaving my current job in the lurch. I have posted ads online for position available, but no one qualified is applying and they will be in BIG trouble if I leave now. I just don't know if I can mentally hang on until September. There have been a lot of management problems, a dramatic increase in workload, and a recent reuction in client satisfaction at my current job, so it would really impact the practice to be without me there as a skilled nurse. (Not to mention the impact it would likely bear on quality patient care.) I feel bad, but I am mean there every day and I hate it. My dad and friends say I'm silly to stay regardless. What do you think?

My wife is in the US Air Force and we are getting stationed in Mildenhall, Suffolk. We plan on living in England after she gets out of the AF. We are both open minded people and neither of us think we're better than anyone because we're American. We also both disagree with most of America's international policies and especially most of Bush's policies. Can we live in England in peace?

It see seems like people are becoming more closed-off to others they don't know as the population grows. And it also seems like the bigger the city or town is, the less likely it is for people not to know their own neighbors. Do you agree? Why do you think that is? Why are we becoming more "un-neighborly"?

this group of soo called kung-fu students and their teacher ask perverted question and crack jokes along those same lines to my girl friend. Should I fight them all or listen to my girl friend who think i will only get hurt.

I would not get hurt, I have been doing martial arts longer then all of them put together but should I really go against my girl friend wishes( and the law) to protect her?

There have been several ocassions that I have blocked illegal parkers and called the police to ticket them. Nothing makes me angrier than someone takining up a handicapped parking space illegaly forcing people like myself to have to park further away. In my case it makes a very big difference as I have 2 damaged legs and multiple herniations to my back.

i do not like this co-worker because she is rude, bossy and lazy. She rarely talks to me but when she needed a ride home, she is following me everywhere backing me in a corner. I made up some excuses but what about next time. I do not want to be rude though.

My mother raised us to use a knife to spread butter on our corn on the cob, but I have succumbed to rolling it on the cube of butter. What is the proper ediquette on the subject? PS I just learned that we are the only country to eat corn this way. To other countries it is animal feed.
