in many cases, unfortunately, their girl friends are a bit deaf, especially to the boy's pleas for more freedom and understanding. just kidding, but sarcasm, sadly, is fun!

Some people are just loud talkers or it could be because the volume on their phone is low and they feel the need to speak louder. It's something subconcious that makes us do that. Plus -- if it's loud where you are at - they may be compensating for the extra noise there.
