Listen to what you know is right--and don't stoop to their level. Droppingknowledge has some good advice. If your girlfriend is a student in the class, she has a case of sexual harassment against her instructor. Regardless, it's sexual harassment, and it is illegal. You don't have to tolerate it. By the way, you don't have to be the target of the harassment to file a law suit. Use the law to your advantage--a phone call from a lawyer is sometimes the only thing that gets these guys to grow up. Document every event, and tell the harassers that you don't appreciate their comments because they are disrespectful. You need to let them know that you have been offended. Keep records of dates, times, comments, conversations. Then file a police report and if the martial arts school is part of a chain, send a formal complaint to the corporate offices. Don't threaten or harass anyone in your actions or words yourself, written or spoken. State your case clearly and follow up--with a phone call or letter from a lawyer representing you and/or your girlfriend. Good luck--a lot of times a phone call or visit from a police officer is all it takes, but be prepared to finish what you start. You'll be able to protect your girlfriend (and future women) from harassment without losing your cool.

Don't fight them. It's not necesarily that you'll get hurt; as you said, it would be against your friend's wishes and I doubt she would appreciate it. You might end up making more trouble for yourself in your relationship. (Besides, no matter what they say, you're bringing her home at the end of the day. Their jealousy has gotten the better of them.)Honestly, it is up to your friend to stand up for herself and make her feelings known. Are you really trying to beat them up to protect her, or to blow off some steam and prove a point to them?
As a martial arts student, I'm sure you know you should only use your talents when you really have to. If a bunch of wants to talk trash, let them in the knowledge that they are in the wrong and they will never reach their full potential. Use your abilities appropriately and keep your wisdom- don't let yourself be clouded by the wrongs of others.
A quote to end; "Fight anger with freedom from anger. Overcome evil with good. Overcome meanness with generosirt, and overcome a liar with truthfulness." -Buddha
Hope this helped!

number one kung-fu -- teachers and students are supposed to be disciplined and respect for each other -- manybe you need to find a copy of the kung-fu honor code and let your friend walk up and hand it to the teacher in fr out of the class- and if the teacher is working contract (like at a gym or spa) go to the owner -- trust me this is a big NONO

This is the problem with martial arts in US. They learn the techniques and skills, but not the honor, respect, and discipline part. Martial arts without the latter is just violence.
If you are truly trained in martial arts, you know what the right thing to do is. THEY obviously didn't learn that part. Do you want to be "one of them" or do you want to be just another violent martial art wannabes?
If they are going to inflict actual harm to you or your girlfriend, and there are no other way to protect yourself, then use your skills. Otherwise, just walk away.

Cannot your girlfriend speak for her own????
I do not believe she cannot
Even in a very polite way she can make them get the point,
i.e. I have recently read a scientific article saying that the 57% of people making pervert-sexual jokes they have erection problems
and play the stupid little girl handing a bomb in a nice way
The question that I would make is . . .
are you sure she does not want to make you jealous?
Women are evil! do not forget that . . .

Sexist wisecracks and other such harrassment is not only inappropriate anywhere, it is not only inappropriate in a classroom setting, it is illegal and it is against the kung-fu ethic.
She should get another group and teacher. I don't think he is authentic.

I think something should be done about it. What they are doing is wrong. But I don't think you should fight them either. Tell someone, and if they keep it up, call the cops. Harassment in itself is illegal.
Although I have to admit, I'd want to beat all their butts too. You have to fight that temptation.
