If it not appropriate to not touch a women whom thou right hand does not posess, what do you do when a female business associate (at an interview, meeting, etc.) reaches out to shake your hand, and not offend those who do not understand that it is out of respect that you do not shake their hand?

Is there legal recourse if you get fired for your behavior?

It is either hot, cold, wet, humid. You name it we are never happy. Yet you can almost guarantee every conversation we have the weather features in it. Are we a nation of weather obsessives or what?

I really don't like cooking but apparently I'm really gifted with it and everyone tells me I should cook more and for others but I don't want to but people keep encouraging me... is it right to deny them? It's becoming increasingly hard to say no especially since my girlfriend just learned I can cook and really wants me to...

I have a friend who has a younger sister who is 25 years of age. She can be nice when she wants to but, when she gets her period it set her off she start cussing and yelling at you for a long time. The younger sister lives with her mother, father, and older sister. She usually starts having meltdowns when she has her period. That is what I have been told. Also, I cannot really avoid her at times, because I like the older friend who is my sister and neither of us drive. The mother drives us to go over to their house because we are taking a dance class so, we have to study there place and sometimes watch tv.
My house is not good because there is usually a three year old child there and a twelve year old who usually have friends over they are noisy. Sometimes she goes with us to the movies I do not know when she goes. Because the family does not tell me. Also she works the grave yard shifts. She refuses to take meds for her PMS. I'm getting annoyed by her. Is this unacceptable?

I ALWAYS get confused with telemarketers, and in reality, I'm an appointment setter for a dating service. The people I call filled out a profile and requested our information, but when I call them back, they act like I"m a telemarketer and get all rude with me. Why have people come to think it's acceptable to speak to telemarketers the way they do? Almost ANY other job does not have to put up with people talking to them that way, why should telemarketing be any different?

I find it hysterical when I ask questions here the kind of moronic answers I get. Usually illiterate jerks who are obviously angry at the world. Guess what? Not everyone here is looking for a fight. Some really just want the opinion or advice of others. Someone said I was unamerican b/c I asked a question about how to quell target shooters noise. Hey, first thanks for the compliment-being american right now is not something I'm proud of. Secondly, get a grip. Get a life. Answer some questions you actually have an intelligible answer for.

I'm talking of course about those stupid phones that some people use to play music (usually on buses & trains) thereby annoying every other passenger who just had a hard 8 hour working day. I blame the network 3! "Listen to music on your mobile!" WHY? Buy an MP3 player like everyone else and save us from you rubbish music!

I am thinking of making a DIY one that could be used as a bookshelf or coffee table (Or coffin table) while I am alive. If used as a bookshelf only need to remove the shelves before getting in it. If I used it as a bed would not even need to be placed in it if I died in my sleep. My friends can put me in a van to take me to the cemetary. Maybe take me on the bus with my old persons pass.I am dead sure I am not going to pay the undertaker

The wedding would be in the evening at 7pm and I already bought this knee length dress and now I'm not sure if that is appropriate to wear on a wedding. My friend said wear something formal, is it okay if I wear a knee length dress? Would it still be considered formal?

By wearing complete covering a muslim woman accepts that any interaction with a man other than her husband or brothers is sexualized. Why shouldn't men and women look at each other's faces if there is business to be done, 99% of daily encounters between the sexes is purely non sexual. This practice of complete cover reduces women to foremostly just sexual beings, that they need to be shielded from the eyes of a male! A woman cannot just go to the corner store without complete covering because another man's eyes might see her and that will just be so wrong and immodest and against what Allah wants! NOT! Most people are too busy to care. If a woman is just too beautiful and is worried she will invite lustful gazes she could dress modestly. Complete covering is a separatist practice and invites scorn in non muslim society. This practice suggests they will win the modesty competition. It really reduces women to third class citizens. Maybe that is what some women want, if they choose it.
