Who's tired of users treating Yahoo! Answers like a porn site?

After all, there are minors using Yahoo! Answers, too.

I just want to thank you all, for your input and great ideas. I really still don't know what the answer is. However, I'm going to entrust Yahoo! users to decide what should be done by voting for the best answer.

I totally agree. I have stopped letting my young teen son do Yahoo Answers unless I am right here to monitor as there is just too much filth that is being posted that will pollute his brain. I had hoped that it would have been an educational tool, but I don't like some of the things he is being exposed to, especially the graphic sexual requests and references.

They should create a special Yahoo Answers Porn category that is kept totally separate from other Yahoo Answers, requires a separate logon and the user has to verify they are over 18 years of age. That way those who want to post their trashy questions can go there and leave the rest of us to ask legimate questions.

Yes! Thank you! Encore!! I am so tired of all this inappropriate content! I wish Yahoo would actually do something... there are some things that should definately NOT be read! What was Yahoo thinking, though? That everyone would be proper? Hello! Try and look around at how people are today! So many sickos... Yahoo! Answers should really try to improve- it's outrageous that certain things are asked or answered here. Thank you so much for asking this question! I truly appreciate it. :)

Yes, I'm pretty sick of it myself. I think some of those people just want attention. It is getting way out of hand and yahoo should put stop to it. I really don't care about other peoples sex lives or their perverted thoughts or actions if I did I would go to a web site for those type of things. It really needs to be addressed. Yes, we should think about the minors who are visiting this site as well.

Yes exactly! Isn't that why there is yahoo chat, where people can talk about sex, and this is suppose to be a morally healthy place to ask questions and get answers. But we need to keep in mind that minors are using this site; so things about sex or acting like a porno site should be banned. Its disgraceful seeing what alot of people have on there mind every waking minute.

Yes I am sick and tired of the porn on this site. I understood that children can use it with parental permission but I do not think parents would give permission if they some of the gros stuff that is getting posted.
If you are truly sick of the porn and gross stuff report it as abuse to Yahoo. There is a space at every question to report abuse. We can all help to clean up this site that we enjoy using and trying to help each other with. Read the guidelines and if it fits the description of abuse report it. You are kept confidential.

I'VE ONLY BEEN ON FOR APPROX 2 MOS. AND I AM SO TIRED OF THE TERRIBLE LANGUAGE, INANE QUESTIONS, AND STUPID ANSWERS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DECENT QUESTION AND HELP SITE. IF I WANT TO LISTEN TO BAD LANGUAGE AND HEAR SEX BEING TALKED ABOUT ALL I NEED TO DO IS GO TO THE MALL OR GROCERY STORE. I GUESS THERE ARE ALWAYS IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO WRECK A GOOD THING.
