Why don't woman put the tiolet seat up when they are finished?

I don't understand why in the modern day world where women want and deserve to be treated equally that men are expected to put the tiolet lid down. Why can't woman put the lid up when they get finished?

How do you feel about people banging doors?

I was growing taught up to close doors quietly so as not to disturb the peace and tranquility in the house.In the convent where I went to school they had the same rule about closing the door quietly.Why do people bang doors in the world?It leaves me angry,annoyed and cussing.i feel so bitter and disrespected.that I do not want to greet or talk to the person who does that after that.....Which is worse?If a family member does it or a visitor?What are they trying to prove?That they can be aggressive,that they can be noisy if they want to,or that they have the power to break the door or what?I would love to know your views on this horrible habit please.

To whom do flirting rights belong?

I was just listening to Deborah Cox' song "Absolutely Not" and in it there is a part she says:
"..If I go to work in a mini-skirt
Am I givin' you the right to flirt?"

Which kinda begs the question... who determines the flirting.

I mean, should you have the say on who hits on you? Or are you fair game to whoever dares to attempt to win your attentions?

how would you approach your nxt dr neighbor following a police raid?

tonite i witnessed the cops(swat) raid the place, search, haul off the dad & leave the rest. only could watch thru the window & barely hear much, dont know if drugs, childporn, what... but im concerned for the family but im not very personal w/ them. the little girl was over earlier in the day w/ just socks(no shoes) in the rain, we sat w/ her til someone got home....real odd i tell you. should i wait til the a.m. paper or go by & ask???? strange

What is the correct and NON DERROGATORY way of referring to African American hair?

I am developing a customizable product for the African American market but I do not want to be perceived as politically incorrect. I just want to give an option of hair styles. I would refer as "curly" the way little Victorian girls had their hair done; how do I offer the African American type of curly? Thanks!

There are several grounds for reporting a post. Do you report posts on account of any of these grounds, or are there things you don't report, even though you could? In this case, which things don't you report? Which ones do you always report?

For example, I never report posts in another language, but I always report point gamers. And you?

If guys don't need to where tops at the beach, why do girls? Would you prefer if law allowed topless girls.

At the beaches in the US, women are generally required to cover their chest while guys just wear shorts with no shirts. If women were allowed to be topless like guys, would you go topless? Why or why not?

I think they filled out that mail forwarding crap, but I keep getting stuff. Is there a way to tell the post office that those people don't live here any more? What does the USPS reccomend?

Why are people so mean to others and unsympathetic?

People can be so cruel, I wonder, have these people (who answer on here) with the most unsympathetic answers ever had a negative thing said to them in their lives? Have they ever been made fun of and know what it feels like? Have they ever been put down, or embarrased because of something completely out of their control, or are they just simply ignorant of how they act. Maybe in order to be sympatheic to another human being you have to suffer and maybe these answerers have never suffered, but really, i don't see how a person could never have experienced emotional pain. I just wonder how many people are going to be cruel answering this question, I just thought I would write these thoughts down.

How long do you have to keep cards given to you before you can throw them away?

Is there a difference depending on who gave you the card (family/friend)? or, The reason the card was given to you?

Why do Americans cut food with right hand then use fork with right hand. rest of world uses fork in left hand?

Americans transfer fork from the left to right hand to eat. The rest of the wolrd just cuts with the right and eats fork in left. When did our tradition change and why?
