take his feeling in to consideration. if you have no interest in men then just tell him you are my friend and i am not interested in men. we can continue being friends as long as you want. but there will not be any relationship besides friendship.
But if u are curious then just tell him that u are curious and not sure what u want at this time and you can try a relationship with him but remember he might not be ur best friend if things go wrong between you two.
If you are feeling frisky tell him that u are curious and want to see what it is like and do the deed but tell him that u don't know what u want yet and do not get attached. that might even screw up ur friendship.. well how about go do it with another man and don't let him know and if u like it then go for ur friend..

Be kind and supportive of your friend. He has come to you with something that not many people would be able to admit or to address. Have compassion, but explain that you are not interested in men (him) in that way. If he is your friend, he will understand and appreciate your honesty and goodness. Whatever you do, don't ignore it -- it never goes away, always festers. If this person is a good friend, I'd say talk about it and let it go. Good friends are hard to come by and the fact that your best friend is gay shouldn't make you uncomfortable. Just be there for him while expressing your own feelings about the matter -- just, please, be gentle.

Although I have never had someone of the same sex fall in love with me, I have been "hit on" by other women. I tell them the same thing I would tell a man I was not interested in dating/getting to know....Thank you, I'm flattered, but I am not interested. In terms of any friend telling you that (male/female) I would say that after that revelation, it may be difficulty to continue a friendship, given that the person who is "in love" may continue to believe that there is some chance that somehow, someday, your feelings may be reciprocated. Having been on both sides of that situation, I can tell you that continuing the relationship may be a very hard thing to do for both of you. Good luck!

holy s***t!! dude... haha. I mean same sex.. right. If it's opposite sex no problem, depends on the type of person, take advantage or not, but same sex...well, no real big deal except that you never really knew the guy. Don't know how that would happen.

At first, I gagged, then I told her in the most polite way I knew how, that I was not interested in same sex relations. Except friendships.

Well, I'm a girl and I had a really good female friend tell me that she was in love with me. I didn't really DO anything. I just told her that I appreciated her letting me know and explained to her that I liked her as a friend, but that it wouldn't go any further. She was very understanding, and neither of us mentioned it ever again.

My cousin is gay and he ever tried to seduce me, then asked me to sleep with him manytimes.
I said absolute NO in a nice way. But when he was behaving badly or out of manner and pissed me off. I had to say sorry that I had to be rude to him that time, I grabbed his down part and squeeze it. He cried out loud painfully and he would never do it to me again.

I have never had my best female friend profess her love to me. Assuming that she ever did I would simply tell her that while I am flattered, I do not feel the same.
