There are several grounds for reporting a post. Do you report posts on account of any of these grounds, or are there things you don't report, even though you could? In this case, which things don't you report? Which ones do you always report?

For example, I never report posts in another language, but I always report point gamers. And you?

Only the ones that offend me. Usually, if it is cutting into someone beyond friendly playfulness or contains a bunch of words that I wouldn't want my 7 year old sounding out.

I ignore what people post unless it is repetitive and blatant.

The only person I've reported posted the same cut and paste reply to every question. The reply went on for about five screens. And, it was unrelated to the question asked.

That was too annoying and blatant to ignore.

There was another person who repeatedly posted the same "question" that included a link to his personal website. I didn't report him, but apparently someone else did before I did so because he went away.

Other than people who blatantly and repeatedly abuse Yahoo, I generally ignore them.

No, I don't care to waste my time ratting on people. In my case, I think there are plenty of others that can do the reporting, while I just sit back and do what I do.

Well, to me, it's kind of like, if you ask a question on here, you already KNOW what types of answers you might get--from people who don't know what they are talking about to people who just want to see their name. WHY report them? There WAS this ONE idiot who I reported, along with dozens of others. Prob'ly won't do it much more.

i found this web page very interesting with reference to the violation rules. It form of clears up a number of the grey parts with regards to posts in Q&A. BTW it truly is not the rules web page yet really explainations of achievable violations.

i try to do as little censuring as possible-believe in free speech even if someone wants to annouce to the whole world how low their iq is-has to be real hateful for me to do anything and if it goes that far i use a question to get other people to nuke them also so it gets removed that quicker-keep the peace old hippie here
