Everybody says that I look gothic, I wear a lot of black and shop at hot topic. I also love hard screamo and metal. But I also am girly and popular. ALL of my friends are gothic, am I?

First do not think im racist, as i am part black. but i just have NEVER seen an attractive african. Im not talking about the north africans, but places like liberia, ghana,etc... have you ever seen an attractive african? be honest.

Now note, i am an independant that normally leans towards libral views, but this one i am and always have been against. Its a very discriminative entity, unintentionaly.

Basicly, Its called Afirmative Action, refered to as \"Reverse Discrimination\", Instead of discriminating against the minority, we discriminate against the majority.

Meaning, The Workplace, Educational institute and any organization that hires people are forced to follow a quota for how many blacks, hispanics, women, etc. Must be admitted. Now dont get me wrong, I beleive discrimination is there, and i beleive its wrong (which is why i disagree with this act) But most of the country and workmen are not racist at all. Thats why you see so many management jobs going towards arabs and asains.

I have no problem with a diverse community, Its that we are admitting lower qualified personel to our colleges and our doctors offices etc. Would you like to have a man who shouldnt have gotten into medical school, who is underqualified perform major heart surgery on your child just because he is of another race? Of course not. Do you see it right that a person gets 20 points for being, black, hispanic, indian etc. while only getting 1 point for an outstanding essay, 1-5 points for being a state,regonal and national leader, in a 150-point system? They are getting just as many, sometimes more points then being a scholorship athelete, How is this fair, just because your black, you are a scholorship athelete? bah

I agree with giving people equal advantages like when comming from a family where a person\'s education was limited becuase of there status, they should get thoughs points (its already in place, another 20 points). But basicly what we are doing here is shifting the burdon from one generation to the next, the white person that scored had a 3.8 gpa, outstanding sat\'s gets beaten out by a 2.7 gpa with average essay, minorty. That minority, will suceed, become wealthy, while the white individual that deserved and worked twice as hard, was twice as smart becomes another middle/lower class individual leading to more racial hate and a shift, to a \"Reverse Reverse Discrimination\"

Right now we have 77% of this country being white, 12.9% Black, 4.2% Asian, 1.5% Native American with the other %\'s scatered to various groups. Of course its seen as \"White American\" It is infact still a white america, 77% of the population, they should own about 77% of capital. Infact they own Just about 80-85%, Give it a couple years and as it has it will continue to balance itself out.

What Afirmative Action is leading to a bigger split, then this minimal one is. should have 77% of the population own 60% of the goods, while we let 12% of the population own 30&, and 4% own 10% of the capita, We are lessening our unity, we are creating a bigger divide between our peoples and the races. This is a backdoor either way you look at it, while it acts as a wall, making us feel warm and cheery on the inside, it actually is hurting ourselves on both the outside and on the inside indirectly.

I havnt even began to touch on the subject, Im just curious to hear what everyone elses comments are.

I feel like I am about 10 different people. I just wanted to see if I am alone . Some say it is schtizophrenia, but I think it is maybe normal. For example , do you not feel totally like a different person depending on who you are around and what mood you are in?
I not only act like a totally different person, but
I also feel like a different person, depending on the person and situation I am around.

My husband and I have been married for 7 yrs. now, and don't want kids, but when we tell that to our family and friends, they are shocked, because they think everyone MUST have kids. I haven't come across any Indians in US who don't want kids, but I am sure there are people out there. How do you tackle your family specially your in-laws in such matter when they think we are crazy, and will change our minds soon?

I am part Latino myself and feel that the Americans should be greatful to have these immigrants...Imagine a day without them? They do all the dirty work and for some reason Whites seem to complain the most about them. I think we should be thankful we have them here....does anyone agree or disagree? Yes, I know they come here illegal at times, but it is to better themselves and families...what is wrong with that? And why on earth do everyone seem to think that just Mexicans come here illegally...there are many foreignors who come here illegal so why just focus on the Mexicans? No I am not Mexican, but I feel we need to quit picking on them and thank them for once!!!

Has anyone else noticed that its socially acceptable for minorities to be racist? I've been called 'whitey', 'cracker', and all sorts of racist names, I've walked into resturants and been refused service because I was white, but if I called someone 'darkie', or refused them service, I'd get lynched. Comedians get up on stage and mock white people, and its perfectly acceptable. Why is 'black pride' wonderful, but 'white pride' racist? I'm not allowed to be proud of my backround without being racist? Look at things like the black tv channel, the united ***** college fund, black magazines.. those are exluding people of other races soley because they aren't black. Thats racism. Can you imagine if someone tried to start a magazine that was white models and stories about white people only? They'd be killed.

People say its because of history. You don't see jews going after germans- and that was genocide, not slavery, and a lot more recent!

Anyone agree or had similar experiences?

And i read about how other countries condemnd what South Africa was doing. Including Austrailia and America. But then I also remember reading that at the roughly the same time that Apartheid was being spoken against by these countries, they still hadnt sorted out their own racism problems. (America and racism agains balck people and Austrailia trying to cleanse its population of the abirigional people of Austrailia) So what gives them the right to speak up agains one country when they still had the same problems in their own? I am sick of selfish childfree people calling mothers breeders and moos and calling our children sprogs and brats. They seem to think that they are so superior to parents, and I just saw something on tv about now they want to ban children from some restaurants on certain days! Not like fancy ones either, like TGI Fridays and stuff! For cryin out loud, children are a part of this world and you have to deal with it. They will never know they joy children bring all because they are too scared to give birth or too selfish to share their lives with anyone. I just don't like the way they judge, and I'm starting to develop my own opinions about them too. I secretly think they are kinda jealous. But I would never just rag on thir lifestyle, not unless I was provoked, which I was today!
