And i read about how other countries condemnd what South Africa was doing. Including Austrailia and America. But then I also remember reading that at the roughly the same time that Apartheid was being spoken against by these countries, they still hadnt sorted out their own racism problems. (America and racism agains balck people and Austrailia trying to cleanse its population of the abirigional people of Austrailia) So what gives them the right to speak up agains one country when they still had the same problems in their own? Talk about casting the first stone, ay?

for every one who thinks that im saying that South Africa has been trasnformd completely and is perfect now....im not. Im talking about countries who tell other countries how bad they r even tho they themselves are still in the same situations. And i have never heard South Africa condemn other countries that have the same problems it has, mostly, they ahve tried to help.

valid point...Even as far back as WWII the US was fighting for freedom while still treating blacks as second class citizens.

I am from South Africa and to tell you the truth....
USA citizens did protest against apartheid but its goverment itself (including the australians) never really helped with fighting apartheid.
The US went to as far as labelling Mr. Nelson Mandela a terrorist!
That is why you never exile politicians in US but in the UK instead!
Like every country our nation also has problems(crime...)
but for those who do not it is not a downslide.
Actually F.I.Y. South Africa has the 6th biggest growing economy in the world and we ahve also accomplished in our very young democracy!!!!

I'd lick the balls of 1980 American black oppression before I peak at 1990 South African Apartheid. Hell, jim crow was warm and fuzzy compared to that bs.

But you're right. Not to mention the fact that we bought their diamonds and never sanctioned them.

Don't get me started on Austrailia...so imperialistic.

Those people blaming SA problems on blacks...keep 95% of population raging and set them free to a false crippled economy that only had to substain 5% of the population now has to sustain the entire 100%...its only been 10 years assholes....so SA problems are created by WHITES.

That like raping a 3 year old then scoffing when she's still a mess at 13!!!!

Good comment. Also consider what happened in S.A. after the land reform. The blacks had land, but didn't know or care to work it, and the country slid downhill fast. Once again what seemed like the obvious solution did not work!

Yea just look at how wonderful SA is now. It is just heaven on earth. If you like uncontrolled rape robbery and murder. Just lovely this time of year.

America hasn't learned a lesson from this farce they helped create either.
