The wording of the second part of your question make this confusing.

There are many ways to answer the first part, "What is considered to be racist?" This answer defining racism at wikipedia covers most of what it is to be a racist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racist "Racism is a belief system or doctrine which states that inherent biological differences between human races determine cultural or individual achievement — with a corollary that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.[1]"

This answers your second question - If your opinion meets the definition (see above) of being a racist, than you are a racist. You can't say that you're not racist and that you're only stating your opinion. If your opinion is racist, than so are you.

Being prejudice against another race is a waste of valuable energy - physical, emotional, and intellectual.

If you consider people from any particular racial background differently than you would treat people of your own race, that is racism.

If you treat all people like crap, then that's not racism, that's just being mean. But it has to be everyone. If you treat any group better, than you are being racist toward the rest ;)

TO blindly hate someone because of their race. I think that stereo typing is completely different. Only an idiot would think that there is no difference between races. Of course certain races have a tendency to do certain things or be a certain way more than others. For instance, when you are on the telephone, can you usually tell the race of the person on the other line without seeing them? Of course you can!!! That's not being racist, that's stereotyping.

Racism will always be around, and completely blown out of control. It's when someone hates another because of an over-generalization. Not if someone hates a black/women/jew because of personal reasons. But no one realizes this. I know this first hand- people see my cowgirl attire and automatically think I'm a racist- which I'm not. I just hate stupid people. It's bull and no matter what they do it'll always be a problem. But that's just my opinion!

Denying someone a job because of their race is racism. Having an opinion of hate towards a race is somewhat racism, but also freedom of opinions.

Oh no your right! If I made WET and only white people could be on it then I would be shot dead the first day. I do have to say bough that blacks feelthat they have had hardships because of their skin color so BET was a big milestone for them. So I don't know really. Whites pretty much own fox news.

If you believe one person is better than another because of skin color you are a racist. If you have preconceived notions about someone because of skin color, you are racist. (for example, if you think all asians are smart).

Whether or not you state that opinion, does not make you more or less racist. Its your internal thoughts that determine that.
