I am a confident 18 yr. old gay/bi male. Most of my friends are cool with the way I am. However a certain insecure/homophobic few, will assume that because I am gay, I automatically "like" them, and become paranoid. LOL. I have dealt with this, using everything from out-and-out ranting, to a simple laugh, or even "don't flatter yourself". I was wondering if gay dudes have experienced similar situations and how you have dealt with them? Hint, stories and solutions would be nice.

To be honest I think my sexuallity was determined when I was born but as there is def. proof and some people think it is nurture I may as well think about it.

I am just wondering if any of you had any homosexual occurances when you were very young? As I did, and it makes me think could that really of made me want more therfore making me gay?

It is something to think about? Did you have anything like that?

I think that I am bisexual. I am attracted to both men and women. Recently my cousin has come out as a lesbian and she was treated very badly and she thinks that I should come out to my family too. The only difference is that I don't feel like it is anyone’s business who I do or don't sleep with. She says I am just afraid. But the truth is I am like this with all personal facets of my life. I feel like my personal preferences are MY business and that I shouldn’t be obligated to discuss them with anyone except the people that I choose to. Should I follow my cousin's advice and tell my family or should I do what I want?

For reasons too long to go into I have just started working on this issue in my 40s. But women have been hitting on me since I was 22. One experience in 30s was disasterous and never dated since. But women kept hitting on me anyway. Did they know something I didn't or were they just hoping?

Now that I know I struggle with the challenge of figuring out who's who. Because of my job I can't hang out in GLTG places. And I am not ready to come out at this point for a whole lot of reasons. Why come out if you aren't in a relationship? It is gonna rock a lot of boats. If I stay single why not just leave things. But I would still like to know how you know.

Partly because I have been trying to figure someone out and although i am not there yet I am leaning toward 'yes'. But unable to make a move. Complicated.

And partly I am wondering why I got hit on so much all of these years before I even got it together enough to figure me out. (I was pretty messed up in my youth)

and his mom is in serious rejection mode. She is talking about moving to a new town where no one knows, doesn't want him to hang out with his friends that he's told, and it kind of sounds like she may be setting him up for abuse charges, telling his younger brother to say he's doing stuff to him. What to do?

Why the hell do dumb straight people (not all of you), come over to check out the GLBT questions to answer them so rudely. If you don't like GLBT people. Then what the hell are you doing here?

Whatever religion u're from I'd really like u 2 post ur opinion. I think that it's really important 4 people 2 ask these questions, cause people can't be living in denial & pretend that there isn't gay people in the world. We all think & believe what we want, we're entitled 2, but whether we accept them or not, we as humans have 2 compromise & get along even if there are very stuburn people in the world, which there is. I'm a christian & we don't believe in people being gay, we might not even like it, but u know what, in my part I care about them on whatever/whoever they are, cause they're people just like u and me & they have feelings. If we christian turn our backs on them 4 being gay, then how can we call ourselves christian if we r not demonstrating it. On my part I used 2 think that I was gay, I didn't even liked admitting it, so I understand how very hard it is. But then I realized that I was just curious about it. I'm open minded & I like 2 know stuff. So say something about it!

Well I have this one friend of mine who is erally important to me and here's his case. He is straight and his now "fiance" (for a bit now) is bisexual. About 3 weeks before his proposal to her she and I went to a party over at our friend's for her birthday. To get straight to the point. She had sex with the birthday girl that she had been crushing for a while even before they started dating. And he does not even know. I want to tell him, but they seem to be progressing happily. So I ask for your opinions please. Should I tell him? Should he stay with her? Should she tell him? Was it wrong? Does he have a right to know? Things like that. The diamond ring is about to approach soon and time is a wasting.

How many range of lesbians are there?
Why do some feminine women go for dykes and some dykes go for dykes, and feminine with feminine?

Me and my girlfriend broke up today, and we still live together but I am moving in two weeks. We have a two bedroom townhome, so we don't have to be all in each others faces. The question is, how do i get over her if i am still in her presence. It hurts cuz she was cheating on me, that's why we broke up...i just couldn't take the lies anymore

will san fransisco always stay the great gay friendly, gay major city, or will it become a tehran [homophobic]?
