This is just a survey to see the approximate percentage of people who bareback, and see how people think about it.

Only with my current partner of 8 years! It is much more pleasurable to bareback!
Should we ever split up I would never barback with another person.

I would never bareback unless in a monogamous relationship. And even then, only after we are wed would I even begin to consider barebacking, if only to procreate. It's too dangerous and requires a great deal of trust in both parties. Even in a monogamous marriage, I'd have to trust my partner enough to be certain that we are both faithful before barebacking is even an option just to be on the safe side.

Personally, if a couple isn't committed to a long term, and possibly life-long relationship, barebacking--although a sign of trusting the other person to be truthful about any STDs or sexual history-- is not an option until I'm sure nothing could go wrong. The only advantage that I can think of to barebacking is that the sensation is somehow clearer without the condom-- however, again, the risk is not worth the extra bit of pleasure.

hope this helps.

My bf and I didn't bareback until our ten year anniversary. After ten years of commitment, I felt safe enough to take down that last barrier. After 16 years, we still get tested for ALL STD's every six months. By now that part is just a habit, we no longer even have a nervous feeling about those tests.

I always said that I would really have to trust a person to do it bare... I do, and I do. But it took ten years to get that much trust.

My partner and I bareback, but then we have been in a monogamous relationship for 20 years.

I wouldn't have bareback sex with someone, because I wouldn't want to spread AIDs or STDs or do anything too unsafe, unless I had a longterm partner.

HIV/AIDS is on the rise again in the MsM (men who have sex with men) category. Barebacking is stupid, dangerous, and deadly in a non-committed relationship. Regardless, always be smart enough to know your partner's HIV status.
