well, as we know, san fransisco is the gay capitol of the world. :) my friend said that during independence day he saw more flags that showed the 50 stars, but then the rainbows as stripes then real american flags.

will san fransisco always stay the great gay friendly, gay major city, or will it become a tehran [homophobic]?

having problems finding a girl in SA? Well, San Antonio has a pretty big gay community. try comign to austin sometime.. no doubt you will find someone. :)

San Francsico will always be very gay friendly. The Castro District is where most gays hang out and live. More often, younger and younger gays are moving there

San Francisco is very cosmopolitan. It has all kinds of people. Somebody above mentioned Provincetown, Mass. It's tiny compared with SF, but so much more gay and gay friendly. As a gay person, a day in P-town is like a day in Gay heaven.

The fact is...we found out about SanFran from the news in the 70's. Now it is gay ,where-ever.

To me it always will be....1975 I flew from vancouver to san francisco for the weekend and was blown away..life as i had never seen it was possible for me.
