We have tried to talk things over and work things out, but it just isn't the same anymore. It is a gay marriage, we are legally married too.

I've had a wonderful friendship with a straight guy for 10 years. He's my best friend, but in fact, I fell in love with him a few times in the past, and I've always felt some attraction towards him. He didn't know I was gay until I told him recently. We're very close emotionally and I feel how much he likes me as a friend, the way he looks and smiles at me, talks to me, hugs me etc. For me it's OK if it stays like this between us, as I wouldn't like to have sex with him (even though I have sexual phantasies about him) and I'm not bothered at all by his girlfriends: I feel in a purely Platonic way about him. He's the only one I've told that I'm gay, not because I hoped he was as well but just to be sincere with him, and he was very positive about it and said it didn't change anything between us, which made me feel happy. I haven't had a gay relationship yet, and I'm afraid that I might like him less if I have a lover, and that would hurt him deeply.Do you think this friendship can work?

I'm bisexual, and I can see a woman in a bikini, whatever, and I don't go gaga over it,but men do.( I mean,I DO find women attractive, but in those instances, feels more pervy to me.)If they get a peek up a skirt, they loose their minds. Am I the only bi woman who doesn't find scantily clad women attractive? I find it more trashy, and unless they are on the beach or something, feel like it's inappropriate most times in public. I'd rather see a woman dressed in something nice, rather than trashy, maybe my standards are too high, lol. What do the bi women, and the straight guys think about this?

I have a 10 month old baby boy. I know he's too young to understand this yet, but I want to start thinking about what I will tell him about my sexuality. Right now my gf and I don't live together, and I don't know if we will. I guess eventually at some point or another I'll live together with another woman.

How can I educate my child about this issue? What do I tell him? His father will be in the picture, but what do I tell him that mommy has a girlfriend? He needs to know someday and it worries me. Any advice?

my girl is always avoiding issues that have to do with our relationship. She thinks that because she doesnt agree she doesnt have to deal with it. Or she even picks whats important to her on whether she will deal with and issue or not. I dont know how to tell her to respect my feelings and work on herself in a nice way.

it's really hard to explian. one of my best friends knows that i am bi and yet she still will admit that she flirts with me. but she will swear up and down that she is straight and that she "only goes one way".
we always hold hands, and i guess you can say that we sit "awkard" on each other. i told her that i was in love with her. and she just said that she loved me but " she only goes one way". even after this she still continues to flirt with me. alot of my friends have come up to me asked me was the deal cause the think we are dating but i just say we are friend. this is killing me
I don't know what to do? is her flirting just being friendly or teasing? she i give up on her and just think of her as a friend? lol one of my other friend say just kiss her and find out what she does, is that a good idea? i don't know what to do?

Same-sex marriage pioneers separate

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060721/ap_on_re_us/gay_marriage_separation

It was on Yahoo News this morning!

BOSTON - The lesbian couple whose lawsuit led to legal same-sex marriage in Massachusetts have announced they have separated.

"Julie and Hillary Goodridge are amicably living apart," Mary Breslauer, a local political consultant, said Thursday night on their behalf. Breslauer declined to comment on how long they had been separated or whether the couple planned to divorce.

The Goodridges were among seven gay couples whose lawsuit helped thrust Massachusetts into the center of a nationwide debate on gay marriage. The state's Supreme Judicial Court issued its narrow 4-3 ruling in November 2003 in their favor — saying gays and lesbians had a right under the state constitution to wed.

For being attracted to both sexes, you would think your chances of finding someone would double. It's hard even telling a potential partner you're bi because there are some who won't date you because they might think you would cheat on them.

I've been in str8 and gay bars and I don't get approached at either, which gets me depressed. Have you told your dates on your first time out you're bi? Does it turn people on or off?

When I met him this girl "his friend" was like "oh he's so gay" but everytime we are together, he does not act like it. He talks about ex girlfriends, and future wife ect.... But maybe some of the comments he makes I wouldn't expect from a straight guy, like " talking about a celebrity being bisexual, and then trying to convince" We have been friends for about 5 mo and gotten really close, but I feel like I should have said something from the beginning. I tried to like there were these guys staring @ me and he said something. Im like No, they're staring @ you. And he cussed me out, so I was thinking he might jus tbe a feminine male?? It really doesnt matter but........I just feel it is wrong to decieve in relationships, say for instance he becomes involved with a female, but is bi and messing with guys. That is WRONG if he is not letting both know up front. Also I never asked him anything about that or even felt like that was an issue to us being friends
