Probably because it's taught to us, as females, never to talk about sexuality or sexual things. It is deemed "improper" by society, and therefore women are uncomfortable with it. The men are probably uncomfortable because you are a woman talking about such things. My advice? Find more supportive, understanding, and open minded friends.
