Once a guy told me he was straight-gay; and defined it as being straight acting in behavior; but like guys. I'm not sure if I should believe this because I spent the night at his cousin's house once. In the middle of the night I heard this noise coming from a bedroom. It was the straight-gay guy on a bow flex, wacking off, while watching his cousin in bed with another guy.

You are probably thinking of a "straight acting" gay guy. This is a term normally found on gay/bi profiles to explain that the guy is "straight seeming" i.e. they are not camp or effeminate.
Alternatively, you could be thinking of a bisexual who is attracted to both sexes. Some people believe bisexuals to have a "straight" and "gay" part, and others believe bisexuals to be neither gay or straight.
