Alanis Morissette (cool voice)
Teagan and Sara (actual lesbian twin musicians...Very cute, *wink*)
Jewel (kinda folk...More her older stuff than the newer stuff)
Tatu (more dance-ish, and they aren't lesbians, even though they pretended to be for a while...)

There are lots of good female musicians in each music genre. The women i prefer to listen to are PINK and Gwen Stephanie and Kelly Clarkson. I dont know if either of them is lesbian. It doesnt matter, i love the music.

I would have to say Cher or Melissa Etheridge. Being the Melissa is a lesbian her music is still from the heart, and always has a story to tell.

Carole Kay was/is one of the best. I don't know if she is retired or not, but she was a studio musician who played on many top hits. See her website to learn all about her. She played guitar and bass guitar, with bass being her main instrument.
