I never hear of white people being attacked in this country based on their race. Why is that? I'm an Australian Aborigine BTW.

i work at a local nursing home as a housekeeper.our administrative staff is so rude, along with the rest of the staff.they expect us to do work that is not in our job description...for example ,picking up trash that they throw down on purpose, leaving bm diapers in the floor, and saying things like,"Oh thats ok ,the housekeeper will get it"we already do part of the cna's job, also patient escort, and make sure they are turned every few hours.reporting abuse and neglect, falls.and are expected to clean up spills that the cna's do or it will be there all day.we get treated like we are no one,but can you imagine what the place would look like if not for us.our job is as important as theirs, why do they look down on us.

Please tell me how you changed your sexual orientation. What worked for you? Did sleeping with a woman work? If i supress my feelings and think about women all the time, will that work?

So far, 98% of the guys that have shown interest in me, and also that I have shown interest in have all been "closeted". Am I sub-consiously wanting this for myself? Why does this consistantly happen? I have no idea at first they are in the closet, but, then they say they are and then they get nervous and distant but stay single. I am not aksing them to come out or tell the world - just somebody you can talk to and relate to..

Am I looking for this and not knowing it? Am I not worth it? Why does this happen? I just find this to be a pattern and don't know why. Maybe somebody knows better than I? Talk to me.

I just always wondered this so here goes:

If you are a White female: Would you ever join a predominately Black sorority? (Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, ect.) Why or Why not?

If you are a Black female: Would you ever join a predominately White sorority? (Alpha Delta Pi, Chi Omega, ect.) Why or Why not?

This is not meant to stir up racial strife, but I've noticed that, even though all the sororities are open to other races, there are only a handful of other races that actually become members of these organizations. I've always questioned why there is such a big division between the two. (Black and White sororities)

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on. So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time. When he returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not." God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion." So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time too. When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being
good."God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% who were being good, because He wanted to encourage them..give them a little something to help them keep going.
Do you know what the e-mail said? ...........
Okay, I was just wondering; I didn't get one either...

Some background information: One of the best-known boycott of the LGBTQ community was with the Coors Brewing Company starting back in 1973 for their practice of a polygraph test which included a question about one’s sexual orientation. Since then, the Coors Brewing company has since made several attempts to counter this boycott. How important is it for us as members of the LGBTQ community to know that the businesses we patronize does not support homophobic causes? Where do we draw the line?

I am a little hard of hearing and a co-worker (who is known to gossip) came into my office to tell me something. She started whispering and I told her I couldn't hear so she got close to my ear. Still couldn't hear and by this time I didn't care and let her continue talking. At the end, she said "Now don't tell anyone." I told her "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." I still don't know what she said. LoL

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Should I ask to referred to a counsellor? I feel so lonely, which is a pity, as I have found women who are interested, indeed one who wanted to marry me.
My obstacle is that I am not interested in them. Not because I am too fussy, eg in terms of looks. I just couldn't, as I am now, be interested in any woman in that way.

Hypothetically, you're in the kitchen fixing dinner, your s/o is in the living room watching television.
you notice one of the burgers is slightly larger, and cooked a little more the way you (and your s/o) like it.
Which burger do you take?

I see a ton of answers to peoples questions in this area that emphasize trying to talk loved ones out of being gay.

Could anyonone talk you out of being straight.?

heres the thing. we know it isnt a choice because then straight guys would have to admit they were faced with the choice in the first place. that they actually had experienced a gay urge themselves and had to choose and we all know that ain't happening. once one guy admits to another that he had a gay urge he is then officially bisexual.

The fact is some guys have the choice, and those who do generally don't agonize over it. They are guys so they fulfill the urge. not a lot of thinking going on there. there are so many avenues of opportunity available that its a no brainer.

its only the guys who feel trapped by only having gay urges that go through most of the pain

this is my own experience with several of my friends who later went on to get married.

so what do you base the belief on?

If a guy acts very sweet to you, and nice and overtly friendly. And, he always checks you out and makes strong eye contact, and then all of a sudden he seems distant with you and the total opposite with you, what does this mean? He did a total 180 all of a sudden, and I don't know what I did - or didn't do. I did nothing to him to provoke this. What is going on in his mind?
