My favorite song is "Waiting For the World To Change," by John Mayer. I love the melody and the words and the concept.

My mom and I were riding today and I was trying to remember the sentence that you type for practice when you wanted to get your typing speed up. We thought and thought. I remembered only one word from the sentence. Then she finally remembered and she's 79 1/2!!!! Anyway, can you remember the well-known sentence that you would type over and over again for speed practice in school or typing school? In my youth, this would be done on the old Remington, Underwood, or IBM selectric typewriter, etc.

It was not How Now Brown Cow, that was for pronunciation practice.

i know that some people on here and around the world get on here and say good things about people with disabilities. Then when you see them on the little tiny short school but you point and laugh at them. so i think that if there anybody on here talking good things about those type a people then laugh at them later r just fakes. Do you know anybody who does that. Will you probably don't, but you would be really suprised at how many kids and teens do it. Also if you have older kids they maybe do it to, and you people don't do nothing about it. Because i used to ride on the short bus and you don't know how it feels to be laughed at you just don't know.

If you don't like what someone has to say why block them or report them when all you need to do is give them a thumbs down? are people to afraid to hear other's opinions that don't agree with theirs? how is it that people that can claim to be so open minded about things can close their minds to opposing views?

What the hell is wrong with people these days? I have been looking around Yahoo! Answers today, and came across mothers and fathers complaining about their gay sons and daughters! They are asking "how to turn them straight and back on the path of the way of god!"

There was even this bible-crazed woman with a 21-year-old gay son who she was trying to force him into a bible "straight again" camp. She told her son "If you do not attened this camp, you will not be apart of this family anymore, for the sake of the rest of us! I don't want your homosexuality spreding around to the innocents of our non-sinned family" Later, she told everyone that her son attended the camp, scared of being un-loved from his family. She said the camp didn't help, and she literally stopped loving her son and they don't speak to eachother any more.

So, I guess what I want to ask is... Is there really people like this? If so, tell me about it.

I just moved in with my aunt and uncle, but there is this guy a few years younger than them living here named Paul. I'm sixteen, by the way, so I might be overreacting, but Paul acts a lot different around my aunt and uncle than with me and I think my uncle is abusing him... and I think my aunt knows.

I say this because Paul always acts kind of scared around my uncle. I don't know for a fact or anything... and I love my uncle to death, but his tone can be a bit... harsh sometimes. I don't know what to do. Should I ask them what's going on? Another thing--Paul is always doing the housework and chores if that helps.

Hi, my dad is in his sixties and he's been retired for about a year now. He lives with my grandma who's in her 80's. He's had hip surgery on both hips and stays home all day watching tv. Well recently he's mentioned that he's getting cabin fever, we all three go out to dinner and a movie once a week, but he wants to do other things too. However when I mention casinos he says he doesn't like the crowds. Any ideas what we can do on my days off?

If people hate people just based solely on skin color or race... then yes then that is unquestionably racism. But, if it is more or less a difference in style, opinion, music, language... all cultural differences and that is purely it, then is that really racism? Also if that is the case, then aren't we all a little bit racist with regards to other cultures?

While I do not agree with your lifestyle, I only state my opinion and answer the question posed, which is what this forum is about. I do not use derogatory names . You make disagree with 100% of what I say but isn't the purpose of this to get differing opinions ?

The job because of affirmative action?" Even if a black person said they were hired because they were qualified, do you get offend because whites say it was due to affirmative action when you know it wasn't? Do blacks often wonder if it what was affirmative that helped them? Do you think you need affirmative action or can you get a job without affirmative action? I'm just curious?
