Why are so many straight people so concerned about how gay people live their lives? That I don't get. And why do we always have to prove ourselves to people? Hundreds of gay people here have said that it's not a choice. that should be good enough. Of course if we had proof, would you honestly believe us? I bet you'd be stuck on what you think regardless of what any of us say.

In conclusion, what we do is none of your business, we don't have to prove anything to you....just leave us alone to live our lives and you do the same.

(this was actually a response to someone's ignorant question, but I figured a lot of other nosy busybody protesters should see this.)

please i am not racist but my school is infested with really ghetto, *****, bratty latino girls. they come out of nowhere and try to pick fights with you, i'm not scared of them i just think they are really annoying. how do i deal with this other than ignoring them

I keep seeing people posting 'answers' to questions saying 'It's wrong to be gay' or 'God hates you unless you change'...but why would homophobics come into this section if they dislike gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people? Do you not have anything better to do with your time so you have to go around expressing your hate for other people? If you're really angry enough that you have to go on here to take it out on others, you should really get some professional help.

I saw a guy down the street cutting the grass, he was completely hairy. Then I wondered. I dont believe I have ever noticed a Black guy with a hairy back. Being covered with hair seems to be a white thing. and to think they have the nerve to call us apes.

Please read page after page of questions asked here. All I see is young people scared to death by the thought that they are Gay! What kind of world have we, as Gays, allowed to rise up around us? We have been in this revolt business for 38 years now, and we seem to have gone nowhere in a handbasket. I see questions about Gay Pride (sickening rebuttal to what these parades accomplish), fear of being Gay because of what the Religious Right has instilled in our country in the last 3 decades, and so much more...where is the equality...it isn't just about marriage, it is about life!. When and how do you plan on actually making changes in the world according to Gay! You don't even get out and Vote! What kind of world are you leaving behind when you care only enough to gripe about our plight, but not enough to do something about it. And yes, I am mad as hell...at YOU, GAYS! You have overwhelming power, yet you squander it by doing nothing except writing here at YA!

I'm sorry I just don't get it. I understand Marriage rights etc but I just see the milltary as just so far out the norm I can understand letting it have special rules Mostly for the saffety of gay servicemen. I feel this is just an issue people push because they think it will be some gaint leap towards them being accepted. But I just doubt that.

I really like this mixed girl,(she's half black/half white) and she likes me to, but she says she's had some bad history with interracial relationships. She felt real uncomfortable with people staring and the mean thing they've said. So do you think if we were out in public, we'd be looked at alot? i know most of you wouldn't but most people in general?

People can make fun of people with mental problems and it's funny?
I have never quite understood that myself =/
And I know this doesn't apply to everyone, and that there are nice people out there =]

If you were to imitate someone who had been born with only one leg and make fun of that, many people would tell you that you were sick, cruel etc... However if you were to imitate a schizophrenic and make fun of them, it's amusing...?

I find that quite awful, but I also find that it tells you a lot about humans. If you can't see it, or don't understand it...
