Yes and No
I am now 14 and before this i never had an intrest in God.
Last Sunday i attended church for the first time in about 11 years. I found myself disagreeing with everthing that They were saying. I never wanted to go back there because i felt like i had pictured God much different. and now that i have learned a bit more about him [i came home and read some of the bible] i felt a bit.......er......a but disapointed. But i have decided to continue going to church to learn more. Because i hate to judge knowing nothing.

I know enough about the gods of religions to know that i Know all i need to know to know i don't want to know any more about them, or there gods.
Not that there are no good folks who are religious...cause there are. But - the gods of religions have out lived there ideology,..humanity has come far in 2000 years, and religion is still refusing to come into the correct century.
The older i get, the less relevant there gods are.

No, we are all going to die on day, and that's a fact, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. If there is a God when we get to the other side, if we do, we will find out then.
You either believe or you don't. But it's not going to change anything while here on earth. Just live life as it's thrown at you and hope for the best, that's all we can do

No, don't waste your time searching for answers from a factious being. Peace of mind comes from within, and the loved one in your life. Enjoy your life, do your best to not cause pain to anyone. Belief in a god is the single most destructive and hurtful thing in the history of man. At the core of any belief in a god is the hatred of people. Don't be deceived by their words look at their actions. They all want you to hate some one.

no, not really...I am not facing fears about dying, as your question may suggest. IN fact, my beliefs are so far from the mainstream that I don't even talk about them...I think, as we all do, that I am the only one I know who has it right!. ... I see, daily, the drivel emmanating from the extreme right religious fanatics, see where it is taken us (world wide, religious extremist have gotten us into a serious world-wide mess). And we just cannot sit back and think that extremist here (Fundamentalists, TBN, the whole lot of them) are any different than the Muslims we seem to defile at every turn. All extreme religions are dangerous, regardless of where they live and who they are. Anytime I see a religion that preaches MY Way or you are condemned to hell....I run as fast as I can. And, not to sound extreme myself, I suspect that if you do not already know your God, it may be a little late to get aquainted...Where are you going to learn about this God? The bible? (man written, man translated, and very poorly at that). If you do not, by our age, have a very firm grasp on your beliefs, I really don't think you are in store for any revelations (pun intended).

Actually, it has been the more I lose my loved ones, the closer I become to God! With each death, has come a profound understanding about the importance of my relationship with God.
God has always been a vital part of my life but, yes, you are right...the older I get...the closer to God I become in body, mind and spirit.

Yes as I have matured I have learned more about God and his saving grace.
But this is not related to my getting older really. It is the result of reading His word.

No, I find that the older I get I realize that there is nothing that I can do about what, if anything, happens to me after my death. I don't believe in God (inasmuch as in organized religion).

Most definitely. I think it is because you realize how short life is getting to be and you want to be assured in you future home.
I think also because as you get older, the rat race isn't that important and you start to get away from material things some.
