Who cares? If you guys care for each other and want to be together...go for it and don't worry about what other people have to say. There's always going to be someone saying something negative, but you can't base your life on trying to meet other people's expectations and make them happy, because if you do that, then you'll be miserable. My husband is Mexican and I'm white and trust me, people have stared at us, but I don't care. Our love for each other goes beyond skin color. Hope this helps.

One of the things you must learn in life is you cannot make all the of people happy all of the time. There will be racist people but hopefully these people are diminishing. I cannot believe that in 2007 people can actually pass judgement on anyone based on the color of ones skin. Be proud of who you are. I am sure this girl is beautiful. You should tell her the reason why people are staring is that youare so beautiful. If you are going in a small country town maybe there will be an issue which I hope not but if you live in more of a city no I dont think people are that behind the times. Stand proud.

My toddler is African American and Cuban. She sounds like a easy skinned African American with hazel brown eyes and curly, thick Black hair. i'm no longer posting her percentfor risk-free practices motives, yet don't be afflicted, Hispanic and Blacks are the two impressive races of folk so your toddler would be lovable. you ought to understand nevertheless that announcing "hispanic" covers alot of diverse Spanish speaking human beings and a few appear like White human beings (Argentinians are an impressive occasion). i could provide you a extra powerful answer in case you're able to have been specificabout which Hispanic/Latino raza you have been speaking approximately.

I think you need to just forget about it my friend. The girl obviously has issues (specifially self-esteem issues). If she is mixed and she feels weird about interracial relationships, I think that has a lot more to do with personal experience then anything else and this seems like something that is going to put a permanent strain on your relationship. But hey, what do I know? Maybe you'll end up married with kids. Stranger things have happened.

unfortunately people do stare but really it doesn't matter however if it upsets her what can you do? You can but try to convince her that it doesn't matter as long as you are enjoying each others company but it will require a lot of effort on your part and life is has enough problems so by all means try but realise that you may not be able to make her feel comfortable and be prepared to bow out gracefully.

No, every other couple in my area seems to be interracial. People don't do a lot of staring at them. Don't worry about other people.

tell her to let people stare, they are just jealous that they can't find happiness with the choices that they have made, personally in my area it looks as if everyone is mixed, there aren't too many purebloods anyway, so go and get your girl
