My gossipy neighbour has a tendency to be malicious with it. I've just found out that she's been spreading rumours that I'm an alcoholic; apparently she hears the chink of glass several times a day.

I am not upset by this, but would like to do something to embarrass her, in the nicest possible way! Nasty is not my style.

As I don't think one or two glasses a week with dinner is classified as being alcoholic, the chinking she hears will be things like bottles of olive oil, vinegar, and my storage jars are glass - all of which are now being rattled more frequently.

Any other suggestions, with a touch of humour preferred, and she is a senior citizen. I'm sure you folks can come up with something.

Im asian and white and i live in a small town where there are basically no white people. Most of my family live in Wisconsin and places like that and ive visited them a lot as a child and so i was influenced by that. Thats why youll always see me shopping at abercrombie and fitch but i guess over here its a crime to shop there or something. I feel like people dont even try to get to know me because im only supposed to listen to rap. Dont get me wrong, i love rap and r&b but once in a while i'll listen to rock to and people are like "wtf?" And then when i do listen to rap they tell me im not supposed to. And then its even more wierd when i go to Wisconsin because then i become, as a stranger said to me, too ghetto. Wth? Why do people gotta judge you on whether you act "black or white?" To tell you the truth, that makes no sense at all.

Lately my boss has been making remarks which seem more sexual in nature. The other time he remarked how he had not been getting sex from his wife since she got pregnant. He also joked about how I was trying to seduce the female colleagues / clients by bending over (I was arranging some items) and showing them my "tight ar*e" - his words. He also confided in me that he's so horny for sex he wouldn't mind having a fling regardless of that person's sex and do I know anyone up for that.

I'm confused ... our relationship has always been friendly ... but my boss can be a prat at times and I often engage in exchange of arguments / insults / sarcastic remarks (although purely on a joking level). Otherwise, we have an okay professional relationship.

Don't get me wrong ... my boss is quite handsome and desirable. I'd date him in a minute if I'd met him in other circumstances. I just worry that there might be repercussions in dating my boss (plus he is married).

There seems to be an emerging cult of personality of our dearly departed Canadian "I've had a boyfriend for 20 years and now I'm married to him" friend, Da Ben Dan.

Who is the secretary of his fan club?

This site is awash with Trolls who think it is entertaining to post outrageous questions that are extremely racists and bashing...I have seen a few here in Senior Citizens that attack for no reason! Listen to me..these trolls are not harmless! If they take a dislike to you, they will wreck your account and get you kicked off. When you come across a troll's posting, do NOTHING but block the user from your list....if you do not, they can get into all your answers and questions, report them as violations, and you will be banned! Protect yourself, ban all users you suspect are trolls. Trolls rarely have an account that is more than a few days old, usually has less than 100 points. I have a friend here, had 67,000 points, and has been banned by trolls at work..YA does not give a damn about any of us..they prove this time and time again. They do not care who posts violations, have no staff to oversee the place, everything is done by computers....enough violations and you are banned.

My partner and I live in different states - although we will be living together. The thing is - last night we were talking and she said to me that all the posters and pictures I've got on my walls are somewhat childish and when we're living together, I won't be able to have all the pictures. I've got about 175, and the majority of them I've had for years and they also hold meaning with me.

The thing is... I'm already 'sacrificing' a great deal for her. I'm moving to another state, leaving behind friends and family, I'm moving into a different workforce because it'll mean more money for us. I'm also allowing her ex-partner, who has mental issues, to remain living with us, be it in a granny flat out the back.

And I ask myself - am I being irrational, getting upset over not being allowed to have my pictures up, or am I sacrificing enough already and should I simply tell her that the pictures are staying? What do you all think?

I am doing hospice visits for a 67 year-old man with debility. He can't really talk, but he can communicate on some level. He likes to be read to. So, what are some good books/stories to read to him? Maybe something from the 50s, when he was a child? What are some other things you think he would enjoy?

Besides 'bragging rights' among other users on this site, what is all this about getting points and going to higher levels?

If someone really needs the recognition from other members because they are high on the levels, is this there whole life being higher up than those below them, then, perhaps they have no life worth speaking about in the first place, except 'existing' in cyberspace.

Any corrective feedback on this subject that proves otherwise?

I'm not asking about girl on girl porn with two blond bombshell types that's meant for men. I'm talking about true lesbian porn meant for lesbians.

I'm not asking for and perverted reason or because I want to see it. I was just having a conversation with someone and the question came up. Neither of us could recall having heard of such a thing. Besides neither of us thought lesbians would be consumers of porn.

I'm not asking for any links or explicit details, I'm just curious about whether such a thing exists.

I feel silly asking this, but I'm not versed in languages or even in cultures. I've always been curious as to whether or not most Asians -- Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. -- can understand each other on some levels. Being that I'm Canadian living in Northern Ontario, I am fluent in both French and English. I noticed many, many similarities in all Latin-based languages -- French, Spanish, Italian, and even English. Is this so with Asian languages? And also, being that Russia is a part of Asia, is the Russian language at all similar to the other "Asian" languages? And slightly unrelated -- are their cultures at all similar? I apologize for being so obviously naive, but I've always been interested in knowing. THANK YOU!!! =)

THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT HERE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!

> We Must Stop This Immediately !

> Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper . Groceries are heavier . And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street had become!
>
> And, you know, people are less considerate now, especially the young ones. They speak in whispers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they're red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader?

I try to call myself a Christain, however I am also bi and I wonder what to do here. The bible says to love your neighbor, however it also says that any act of homosexuality is a sin. So, technically, I was sinning when a boy from school asked me to dance and I accepted.

I rented the movie Saved and just got done watching it a few minutes ago. In the movie, the main character's boyfriend confesses his orientation to her. However, after finding gay porn under his bed, his parents send him off to a Christain rehab center for "de-gayification". I wonder if that would resemble my parents reaction. I haven't come out to them yet, however since they are both conservative christians i don't think I should at all.

Am I really a walking sin by being bi? I am told my many that "there is no such thing as a gay Christian", so who do I stick up my middle finger to: my pastor, or my boyfriend?

The question of whether or not certain celebrities are gay or straight is often the subject of discussion and speculation in the media.

People just want to know what the sexual orientation is of their favourite celebrities living or dead.

In response to this unceasing curiosity people will often say things like "what does it matter? he is still a great actor either way" ... or "Who cares, she's a great singer no matter what her orientation is". Of course these are true statements. But isn't still okay to want to know these things? We get to know celebrities to some extent, or at least we feel that we know them. So isn't it natural to want to know about something so fundamental them? After all, you would never write a biography about a gay man and not discuss the fact that he was gay. To leave such a thing out would be to ignore a huge part of that individual.
What do you think? Is it okay to, with some limits, insist on knowing what a celebrities sexual orientation is?

Don't get me wrong... I am a lesbian myself. But it seems like we are almost persecuted for being this way.
I say leave us alone and NO, we didnt choose this lifestyle.
I also hate that we get blamed for aids.... That is sooo wrong. I read that the government was trying to get rid of us. So they offered free vacines to homosexuals. A great percentage of these people later tested positive.
Who do we blame?
People who didn't even choose this lifestyle or people too ignorant to leave us alone?
Sorry, but I had to get this out.......

Can someone explain to me why a gay person would have to "come out"? Wouldn't God have accepted it in Sodom and Gommorah? Wouldn't it be accepted now? Wouldn't it be fruitful? Please be as honest as you wish. I want your opinions.

Captain Gioto in San Diego is filing suit on behalf of his fellow firemen because their lesbian supervisor ordered them to march in the Gay Parade. They got subjected to statements like, "Show me your hose"... and worse. CNN News and others are trying to portray him as an overly sensitive jerk. But if this was a woman forced to march in front of guys yelling out, "Show me your ****"... or worse, the entire world would be up in arms. Tell me where I'm wrong.
