I guess they are just ignorant people who don't really care about what's going on with the world. They just waste lots of fuel and their own money. So, they suffer more than we do. If they have the money to pay for all that gas to drive those gas guzzlers, then so be it. If they want to be selfish then who cares, it's their problem to deal with.

Both selfish because they hog up most of the lane (hummers are big) and ignorant because do they see the gas prices putting $200 dollars worth of gas in your car is just a waste, and right now we're going through Global warming....and the people in there BIG hummers are usually obnoxious and think they can just bully their way into the other lane with there Semi-truck type Hummers

If people spent the same amount of time ACTIVELY fighting global warming as they do worrying about what other people ARENT doing, maybe we'll be able to make an impact. ALL cars contribute to global warming, and ALL consume gas. So unless you don't drive a car because you are actually as dedicated to stopping global warming as some people, you are in no position to judge. Because the bicycle riding greenpeace enthusiasts who are doing everything that they can to eliminate all the bad effects they have on the environment could be saying the exact same thing about you.

I'd say some of both.
Every once in a while I smile a little when I see them filling up at the pump, just because I know they're getting totally screwed. I really hate all of them so much.

Because the more gas they guzzle, the more they love George Bush!
How many soldiers-per-gallon do those monstrosities get?

Neither, they are merely excersising the wonderful freedom of choice and blessings that come with living in the United States of America. If you want something where people do not have that right, move to North Korea.

selfish............sorry folks. in america we have a choice. and you may call me names, because that's allowed, too.
i used to walk to work and ride my bike, too. i wasn't self righteous, about that, though. and now for the last four years,i've been a non-smoker, but i don't throw that in people's faces either.
i need to get some hostility going here.
