Here's mine: Early 1950's: I got my parents to send off for this decoder kit. You put this plastic sheet over the TV screen and used their marker to trace over parts of letters. Each week you added to the letter parts until the secret message was revealed. I enjoyed the process, but I must have been disappointed in the message as this is the first and last thing I ever ordered from TV.

Rich people are generally not concerned with issues of race-

could it be because they aren't competing for resources like poor people are?

on something new you'd like to learn? We're told that the way to keep our brains healthy is to continue to keep it active as we age. So I wonder if many of you sign up for courses to learn something new?

I'm sure you all have heard this story if not here is the link:http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/08/10/schoolyard.killings/index.html

But my question is, they have arrested 2 people so far, and one is a teenager and the other is an undocumented worker(illegal alien). Will the teenager be eligible for the death penalty since they are trying to try him as an adult. I know they will most likely pursue the death penalty against the illegal immigrant since the crime was gruesome and he committed another felony while killing them, but don't you think that this is the main reason why people are against illegal aliens, because the high rate of crime SOME of them committ.

SCENARIO --

A same-sex couple in a community has been cohabitating in a community for 20 years. Then, one day, there no longer is any law prohibiting same-sex marriage, so they get legally married.

QUESTION --

Presumably, all those so-called "defense of marriage acts" up until then were for the purpose of defending so-called "traditional" (i.e., opposite-sex) marriage against SOMETHING. So tell me this: Just HOW will the marriage of ANY opposite-sex married couple in that community be harmed in ANY way by that formerly-cohabitating gay couple's having gotten legally married?

(I have yet to find ANY anti-gay-rights bigot who has been able to answer that.)

Sex is sex, correct? You can catch herpes no matter who you sleep with.

Do you think the way we are treated would change, for the better or worse? Would we get equal rights? What would the Church think of it?

These are just a bunch of hypothetical questions, you can pick which ones you like to answer. Thanks for answering!

Before I start getting hate mail, I want everyone to know that I am openly Bi sexual. The only reason I ask is because I just recently read an article on the 2008 presidential campaign where the candidates were asked this same question. I would just like everyone else's opinion on this subject....

Last night I heard several Democrat frontrunners state they are for equality for all, but do not support gay marriage. How do they justify this? Simple math teaches that what is not fully equal is unequal. Yet many of these folks seem to really believe they support equality. Do you believe legalizing civil unions on a national scale, but not gay marriages equates to equal rights?

Isn't it a cop out for a presidential candidate to say the states should be the ones to determine whether or not to recognize gay marriages? If we allow states to discriminate where does it end? Do these same candidates believe states should be allowed to decide whether or not they wish to recognize voting rights for some racial groups, or inter-racial marriages?

Should not all rights be protected regardless of where a citizent lives?

I look around today at all the kids who are medicated for attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity and all kinds of similar disorders. I can't remember kids being like that and needing to be medicated way back when I was in school. Is it just me or is lack of discipline the problem these days, where it's easier to drug a kid than discipline him or her?

People are talking these days about the temp. We have had 102 degrees but I remember before AC, the days were hot, windows open, screens in windows. Cool drinks in the shade. I don't remember suffering like people seem to today. What are you remembering?

I watched it, but I'm disappointed that I fell asleep before Hillary came on so I need to read what she actually said. I have and still am an Obama supporter, however, I was less than pleased on his answers or his lack of actually giving answers. The two "underdogs" running are the ones that actually SHOULD be president, but they are way to idealistic for mainstream America. John Edward is fake, he just recently "supports" gays for the votes no less. While I think the forum was good, I don't feel like I learned anything new about the candidates. I did find it interesting (but not surprising) that none of the Republican candidates accepted the invitation for a similar forum. This country with all its benefits is still really friggin screwed up.
