Yes, as an amateur mascot, I can tell you I find myself grinning from ear to ear all the time, even though I know they can not see me.

Ha ha ha... I guess that they make funny faces...
I don't think i would be smiling if I had to wear 100 lb costume in 100 degrees heat... But if I was a college mascot, I would be drunk all the time and have people carry me around.
