Everyone wants to be accepted by others and to be treated equally. Don't you think it's hypocritical to claim that gays should be accepted by others, while not accepting others yourself?
Or is it OK to discriminate against people because their orientation is different than yours?

I really don't get offended when blocked, and the only person (that I am aware of) that blocked me, was Papa M, who didn't like my opinions/answers and blocked me...that kind of ticked me off, because I feel like this, don't ask the question, if you don't want answers. And people have varying opinions, so to block SOLELY based upon that is a crock. Now if I was rude and name calling that would be a whole different thing.

think about it for a minute. if a person is rude in their comments to you why would you think they woudl be polite all of a suddne when you block them. It is the nature of the person and not much you can do about it aside from ignoring it. Remember a teaser is only happy when the object of the teasing reacts; laughing along with the tesing tend sto put an end to it. Similarly with rude people, they will persist as long as they know it will upset you. By you not getting all bent outta shape they give up after a while.

Wouldn't you be offended if you were blocked? It's another form of rejection. Some people handle it well while others don't.

I think its because blocking them is the most effective way of putting an end to their antics. They want to come here and stir up trouble. At the very least, they want you to agree with them. Either way, that's impossible when you block them.
