People will block for whatever reasons they have. Just because you have a different opinion does not make you a better or worse person. I for one, am interested in hearing your perspective, and how you came to have the perspective now. We may disagree on opinions but then again, if everyone thinks alike, it would be a boring world wouldn't it?
Also, please refrain from using words such as f***ot or the likes. There are some serious bad connotations connected with that word. It would be similar as using the n word or other racist words. Use your discretion when using those words.

Why can't we all just get along?
Too often people become emotional when engaged in a debate of conflicting opinions. Such situations call for tact and respect of the other person. Name calling and profanity reduces the conversation and exchange to a childish level.
If people keep an open mind and respond with civility and well-thought answers, perhaps the amount of anger, hate, and stubborness would be reduced.

You don't agree with our lifestyle, you say? Are you too ignorant to realise we get enough "differing opinions" in the real world through hate crimes and discrimination?
Your purpose here is to seek out and annoy and you do it under the guise of "differing opinions." I think you've got a little "play on words" going on there.
No one is afraid of you so don't flatter yourself. People block distasteful people. Simple as that!
EDIT: I had to come back a day later after I read all the comments. This is a support area for LGBT people. (The keyword here is "support.") I do not go to the hetero areas and make disapproving remarks and call my obnoxious remarks "intelligent debate." We already know about ALL of your disapprovals and the "why" of them. Go entertain yourselves elsewhere.
I don't have time to waste on people from the "land of the pointed little heads."
Hey genius, do the letters "F.O." mean anything to you?

If I had to guess I would think it is because your questions and answers are often worded in a way to cast negativity on the LGBT community. Often these questions and answers contain half truths or outright lies.
A perfect example is your question about HIV/AIDS about 2 hours ago. I noticed several people did a good job of rebutting it.

*Lifestyle*? What? I live an ASHLEY lifestyle.
The number of lovers I take on is determined by my ASHLEYNESS not by the fact I'm gay.
I haven't had sex in 3 months. Is that the *gay lifestyle* you're talking about?
I play chess with my grandfather.
I visit my mothers grave.
I was the best man at my brothers wedding.
What kind of *gay lifestyle* is that?

most the LGBT community probably find your "opinions" very ignorant and close-minded, and are probably by now pretty exhausted by your views, and have blocked you. while i do not intend to investigate into this further, i am probably guessing that they had had a/some pretty good reasons in doing so, good luck and day.

if your placing opion as fact or out of date facts which have now been disproven it may come acrross funny, always make sure u go over everything u say wen presenting, dont worry i do that to wen im talking about hetrosexuality- its a life style choice! in my opion
i have to admit, i looked at ur question about gays and aids in the 80's and its a bit neive, and to be honest it does come accross as an attack, "why have u gays done this" kinda deal. which is why it piss people off!

How is it that some people cannot tell the difference between a hate speech attack, and a neutral opinion?
People can hold any beliefs or opinions they want. But when they air them in a PUBLIC FORUM, they must accept the consequences. This is true for both noble, supportive opinions, and hate-filled, defamatory ones.

First off, it's not a lifestyle & second why give your opinion? It's not like someone whose gay will turn straight because you don't approve

I have found that many gay people automatically hate anyone who disagrees with their "lifestyle". I know many people who treat gay people with the same respect they would give anyone else, they just dont agree with homosexuality. I believe many gay people would not treat those people with the same respect if they knew that. Its very interesting. So basically you can have differing opinions in this section as long as they are pro homo.
