The USA did not exist until either 1776, the year of the Declaration of Independence, or if you prefer, 1789, when George Washington was elected President. The country had lots of white, black, and native ('Indian'). Mexico did not exist as a country until 1821.

The Spanish colonization of what is now Mexico, called 'New Spain' at the time, officially began in 1535. The first English colony in North America began in Jamestown in 1607. Texas was claimed by Spain in 1528 by conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca. Was he a Mexican? I doubt he would have said so.

Mexicans preceded 'white' people (many Mexicans are quite white, btw) in Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico, before they were annexed as states, In those states there were Mexicans living there before there were Anglos (or whatever group you mean by 'white.')

There were people living in what today is Mexico before the Europeans arrived. Many of those living in Mexico today share a common ancestry with those people. But as there was no "Mexico" yet, they would have have called themselves Mexican.

There were Native Americans that roamed the land, then Europeans came over, took over and refined the land.

Some destroyed it and abused it, yes.

You really need to read some History rather than asking that on YA. You are going to get lots of misinformation and racist nonsense otherwise.
