My mom and I were riding today and I was trying to remember the sentence that you type for practice when you wanted to get your typing speed up. We thought and thought. I remembered only one word from the sentence. Then she finally remembered and she's 79 1/2!!!! Anyway, can you remember the well-known sentence that you would type over and over again for speed practice in school or typing school? In my youth, this would be done on the old Remington, Underwood, or IBM selectric typewriter, etc.

It was not How Now Brown Cow, that was for pronunciation practice.

LOL. You are going back about 50 years and yes it was on a Remington typewriter. I think it was:
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country." My wife was a couple of years behind me and she said they typed:
" The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane." Either one
what you were thinking of?

I think it's something like this:

The lazy dog jumps over the quick fox?

The point was to use every letter in the alphabet. I'll check the internet for the full version. I'm no senior, I'm 16, so I never actually typed on a typewriter.

Hehe, this is it. Meh, I was close.

In my school in Canada it was "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog."

And I know I am answering this later than others, but I promise that I didn't look at the existing answers first.

'The lazy brown dog and the quick red fox jumped
