I am careful about who I block, and the 100+ people on my blocked list are there for valid reasons.
If someone is hostile, belligerent, promotes violence, or personally harasses another person they will be blocked.
If someone only has a different opinion or point of view, they will not be blocked.
If some is blocked and their demeanor becomes more civil, they will be unblocked.

The only person I've ever blocked was a homophobe who sent me three flames in five minutes. He deserved it twice over.

I've not blocked anybody. Don't see any reason to. If I don't like what they say (I have to read it first, even if the prelude is obviously racist or bigoted), I just don't respond. Even blocking is a form of response, right?

I had to block an amount of people. I have my reasons and of course I block the trouble makers, Dr Doofus is one of them.

not the over reaction part..but I have blocked people in the past who I thought were trolls....but I seem to have cleared up my lists now.
