It is impossible to put a good or great deed in motion and not get a return. Even if that return is the satisfaction in getting the thing moving.

Just not being a jerk I guess. People that wake up every day and don't harm others (theft, murder, rape, abuse, etc). People think a great deed is something that you should be on the evening news for, when a few extra people not taking advantage of each other is what counts.

Northern Living Allowance for Cdns living above a certain parallel, we moved before it came into effect. BUT my daughter and STB SIL were able to claim this tax credit when they lived in Northern Alberta for a year

APP out and RCMP in - in the same town, again I left before the change was made. There were a lot of accusations on bribery etc in the area prior to the change (trying to be PC here)

Paid for the education of a child that wasn't our own. She graduated this year without a word of Thanks .We are satisfied knowing that our actions prevented this young woman from becoming a negative statistic which would have been inevitable hand someone not intervened. We only hope that one day when she is in a position to ; she will pay it forward.

When we do things for others it should be for the glory of God, not for returns here on earth. Our rewards are in Heaven.
