If a guy acts very sweet to you, and nice and overtly friendly. And, he always checks you out and makes strong eye contact, and then all of a sudden he seems distant with you and the total opposite with you, what does this mean? He did a total 180 all of a sudden, and I don't know what I did - or didn't do. I did nothing to him to provoke this. What is going on in his mind?

Maybe he thinks you aren't interested in him? Perhaps while you two were casually flirting someone else asked him out? Maybe he's just tired of eye candy staring (I'm sure he loves your hair) and wants you to ask him out already? I would say ask him out, worse comes to worse he says no, but at least you know your answer then. That's kind of harsh and I think you have a good chance with him, as you've talked about him before. So ask him out for coffee or something and go from there. Enjoy your date! :)

This guy is evidently not able to come out of his shell far enough to tell you what he wants. He expects you to be the mind reader, that it was taking you too long to do so, he has retreated. It would be best to leave this one alone. If he can't express himself any better than this now, think how bad it would be on you emotionally to try to actually start a relationship with someone who keeps you guessing how things really are. Run Fast!!!!!!!!!!

He got exactly what he wanted, he was messing with your mind and you probably took to long for his liking to react to his unsubtle cues for you to make a move.

I think you may have been misreading his first actions - then you indicated your interest - he then freaked out and is ignoring you so that you understand he is not interested!
