We have managed to map out the whole Human Genome, yet no "gay gene" has been found and labeled in the genome map. I'm sure if it was, there'd be a lot of fanfare over such a discovery.
However, most of the gay people I know have "become" gay as a result of childhood difficulties which tend to stem from parental abuse, especially from the father, or from the father being absent to a vast degree.
There have also been cases of homosexual men turning straight through healing and counseling and go on to lead a productive heterosexual life with a happy marriage and children.
What are your thoughts? (please, no dumb answers. thanks)
