I'm with this girl who I really like, even might say love. We are always together... We live and work together, and are ALWAYS together...did i mention that? The problem is we're both from different places so we don't have many friends, how can i tell her i want to make friends for just me, and that she should do the same...should i even say it? And where is a good place to go to make friends in houston?

Every couple needs time and space apart so that they have something to talk about when they are together. I have tried to get this accross to my wife but she is so clingy we have to be together all the time unless I am at work or working late I am with her. And if I am at off and she is at work she try's to make sure that my every waking hour is busy doing something for her.
It all boils down to her being insecure. If I had the answer I would give it but communication may help.

OH Gurl....yes you should have friends of your own. Ones you can go shopping with, movies and lunch. Even though your GF is your lover, she can not be everything you need in this world. Everyone needs friends.

How to tell her. Just like you did on here. Sit down and tell here. Say hunny I love ya, but i need some friends of my own. i promise to be faithful, but I need someone else to shop with and got to lunch with. Anyone shoudl understand this, and even help you.

As far as making friends, you can make them best by doing things you like to do.
