How will the voiceless oppressed peoples demand for equality and justice in housing, education, healthcare, job opportunities, and political power? Who will start the revolution?

I recently read over a question that a female asked when she questioned why a lesbian would choose to be with a "stud/butch" woman. Or as she said a woman who looks like a man. The question was closed and I could not answer but I felt that I had to say something,,

Now, just because you are a lesbian (or a woman period) does not mean you are going to be feminine. Many straight women are not feminine themselves. Many men are still attracted to this. Therefore we all know you can be tomboyish without being a lesbian!

Just as some lesbian women choose to use straps and/or dildos,, it is not to feel closer to being with a man, some just enjoy penetration. I'm sure it would not matter what it was shaped like. (Could take the shape of a large finger,, who cares?)

The point is, you like what you like. People are who they are, if studs chose to shop in the men's departments, he11 why not. Straight women can do the same thing and still be straight. Y be criticized because of it...

I'm interested in what people think about intelligent life in places other than EARTH! The universe is so huge, I think there has to be life all over the galaxy we just can't see it yet. I found this book that explains how the Bible is really an "Athiest book", that the word God in the Bible was originally Elohim which is ancient hebrew for "those who came from the sky". That means that it was not a supernatural or mystical god which created life on Earth, but people from another planet who made us "in their image". You can check out the website to get a better explanation that I can say at www.rael.org.

But regardless, do you think that we on this planet are the only ones in the whole universe? Or have we just not yet reached the stage of becoming part of a galactic culture of intelligent life??....

i am a straight male who is very much in love with my girlfriend.

now, i hear many people in general (not just gays) say they were born how they are, and i get to thinking

how can you be born with a certain personality right a birth? i know i wan't born straight. just like i wasn't born with certain food preferences or a certain mentality about anything.

now don't get me wrong, i'm not at all saying you choose to be straight/gay. i am just saying that it is an unknown reson why people are homosexual or straight.

since scientists have already proven that there is no "gay gene", it can't be genetic.

even some homosexuals say that they have always felt different from childhood. well, that doesn't prove they were gay at birth, just very early in life.

i believe these things are subconciously influenced by some unknown or known factor.

what do you think? and please tell me why, adressing why i am wrong if you disagree in any way.

I am not racist at all, so please NO ONE take offence to this. Anytime a person of color doesnt get their way, why do they say its because "Im black" etc. when it has nothing to do with it? It seems like in the end it boils down to what color my skin is. Is this an excuse people of color accept automatically?

I had an odd recollection of my old bishop giving one of these to his daughter and saying something to the effect of "Breasts are beautiful".

On a gay date it is difficult to know who should pay. Should the older guy pay or the more wealthy? Should one pay for the entertainment (movie, performance, etc.) and the other pay for dinner? Should the sexual top pay or the sexual bottom?

My partner always accuses me of being "stuck up" because I don't have gay friends like he does.

Here's the thing: all the gay I know in my community like to get drunk, go to the clubs, sleep around, and do drugs. Even the "working" ones seem to be just totally outrageous and off the wall.

I am the kind of guy that works, comes home, manage my home business, watch a little TV and play around on here, go to the theatre, a fundraiser... stuff like that. I don't consider myself "stuck up," just GROWN UP.

Am I wrong? Do I need to totally change my lifestyle and trash everything I like to do just so I can "fit in" with other gays instead of continuing on like this.... hanging out with my straight friends that like similar activities? I mean, it's not like I am not ACTIVE in the gay community, it's just that that scene doesn't interest me. Aside from business and fundraisers, I am hardly ever out in the GLBT part of town.

It could be race or religion or political views, nothing ticks me off more than seeing people generalize an entire group of people on here. How ignorant! I know that this is not everyone but for those of you out there, start thinking for yourself and looking at the person, not whatever community they may be a member of.
