...No.

Firstly, I think we can agree that skin color is genetic. Two individuals of African descent will have a dark-skinned child. Two Europeans will have a light-skinned child. So what race were Adam and Eve? Similarly, we have blondes, brunettes, and redheads. Were Adam and Eve meant to represent all possible hair colors and all possible skin colors? How, with just two of them? Genetics simply don't work like that. The genes develop and change over time. Sometimes they mutate. If genetics were as rigid as you seem to presume, everyone would be almost exactly the same.

Also, not all gays think that it is something genetic. I personally think that the actual answer lies somewhere between genetics and environmental influences. A study of identical twins found that if one was gay, the other had a 52% chance of being gay. This makes it obvious that there is at least -some- genetic component to sexuality, but it should also make it just as obvious that genetics aren't the only thing (because otherwise the other 48% are unexplainable). Genetics may -predispose- an individual toward a certain sexuality. Society pushes an individual toward heterosexuality. Other various psychological pushes can push someone in either direction.

No, not all all. A baby has a random mixture of the tens of thousands of genes of its two parents. So genes are constantly mixing and changing. New attributes appear in genes all the time. So babies can exhibit genetic properties that neither of the parents have. That is how evolution happens.

Second of all, there is significant scientific evidence that homosexuality isn't all genetic. It's been shown scientifically that the complex hormonal environment inside the mother's womb also influences sexual orientation of the child. And there is lots of evidence for part of homosexuality being socially influenced as well (for example in Ancient Greek and Roman cultures where homosexuality wasn't discriminated against, a large percentage of males were bisexual). So it appears that homosexuality is not just genetic OR hormonal OR social.

Thirdly, there was no Adam & Eve as described in Genesis. The story of Genesis is a myth, like The Three Little Pigs, Leprechauns, The Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy. It just happens to be a story that a lot of people believe. At one time lots of people believed in witches so they burned hundreds of women at the stake thinking they were witches. At one time almost everybody believed the world was flat and that if you sailed on the ocean you'd eventually hit the edge and fall off the planet. Now we know better.

If all different races are a genetic thing that shows various characteristics was Eve and Adam - African American, Indian, Caucasian, Native American, Japanese and every culture at the same time.. And if so why all the discrimination occurs. No, just because something is genetic does not mean that Adam and Eve had to have it. Let's face it beside the issue on how the different races appear, with your logic Adam and Eve had to have every genetic disease known to earth.

Ha. We know more about genetics that would suggest that some genes have entered the pool since Adam and Eve. Is your question meant to be insulting to gays, or to debate the idea that being gay in a choice? Say what you mean!

No one has ever proved being gay is genetic. When 2 people have a child that child has genetic traits from both parents but it has its own genetic makeup. Think of all the hundreds of thousands of people born after Adam and Eve that it took to get to you. You are made up of a little gentic material from all those people. Somewhere along the line something didn't mix right and POOF your gay

Did you ever perhaps consider the following possibilites?
a.) Adam and Eve werent real.
b.)There is no way (yet) to scientifically prove whether being gay is a product of genetics or enviroment so anything that is said is just the opinion of the person saying it, whether they be gay or straight
or c.) You're a retard

I don't believe that its genetic.

I have read the propaganda that says otherwise but I am a believer that a person is the result of his or her environment.

AS far as the Adam and Eve part of the question: If that was the case He would have jumped her in her sleep but went in through the back door so none of us would have been created.

No, Adam and Yves were both gay. Early French translators of the Bible have rendered "Yves" as "Eve", and the error has come down to us in later English translations. Adam first mated with Lilith, the original feminist. It is possible she was a lesbian. As for reproduction, I believe in miracles. And cloning.

On a serious note: The original Yahweh was actually a goddess who underwent sex reassignment to become God the Father. That is the historical truth.

It IS genetic-and just because I say that doesn't mean I'm gay.
I'm not. It just means I'm educated and have some knowledge on the subject. Homosexuality affects 10% of the population, both
genders, and is related to the chromosome regulating sexual orientation being reversed.
As for people who think it's a lifestyle choice, how do you pick
who you're sexually attracted to? You are or you aren't. Thinking
people choose to be gay,in today's homophobic society,is not
only ignorant but just plain stupid.

well first, you'd have to believe that adam and eve existed, which if they did, where the hell are their remains? we have several fossils of creatures that lived millions of years ago, and yet not a single bone that can be traced to adam nor eve. and for that matter, why haven't we found the garden of eden, or noah's ark, etc. which by the way, we have proof that the dinosaurs existed, and yet, the bible says nothing about them....wonder why that is?
secondly, if you believe that adam and eve were the first humans EVER, wouldn't that mean everytime you have sex, that you are committing the sin of incest? and that all of us, gay straight, or bi are all products of incest?
now before you go thinking that i'm bashing christians, remember YOU were the one who posted the question, and therefore YOU must be willing and/or able to back it up, right?
do i know if being gay is genetic? no, i don't. i know that my parents didn't raise me to be gay. otherwise wouldn't all of my siblings be gay too? nor did they raise my siblings to be straight, or otherwise, wouldn't i be straight too? they raised me to be happy, and being gay is what makes me happy. you may not agree with it, but i don't recall asking for your permission. and furthermore, you don't have to live my life, and i don't have to live yours, so stop trying to tell me how I should live my life.
was adam and eve gay? maybe they would have been, if there was other men and women in the garden for them to sleep with, but according to most of the versions of genesis that i've heard, they were the first and only people until cain and able came along. maybe cain and able were gay, the bible never said cain, able, and jessica, and louise.
